After finishing BG saga. I am settling down with Aerie.
I think I like Beregost Best!
It's not as crowded as BG or Athkatla. It has 3 Inns and a temple.
It's in the wilderness so Aerie will like it. It's safe (lvl 17 Priest of Lathander is next door). And we are there!! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
What place does everyone else like?

A Wizard Tower somewhere in the mountains where I can cast Lightning Bolts at trepassers! BwerWahHAHAHAHA!!!!

*cough* *cough*

Pardon me, hmmmm... ...

Having not fully experienced BG1 yet, I will just think of SoA and ToB. Let's see... ... I think Umar Hills. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I am a sucker for wilderness of the cute type, I am sure Aerie would love the critters there. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I would most probably take over Valgar's house there and convert it into a tower.

Yes... that would do the trick. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Paladin meting out justice. Otherwise, I think I will just be a bard and torture my enemies with, "My Heart Will Go On".

hmm, Friendly arm in maybe.
For a fort or main home there can only be one winner..Durlags tower. Clean it out, bit of redecorating, plant some trees outside, sack the gaurds and get some friendlier ones. Sorted. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Gedd's thoughts go out to those in America..

Mirac Honorguard 09-13-2001 09:49 AM

It would the Friendly Arm Inn OR Trademeet. In Trademeet you are the hero http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif In the friendly arm inn you would be treated well enough and that would be better to retire. But I don't want to retire, now I'm beginnig to gain power http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/tongue.gif d'Arnise Hold would be cool too, I always wanted to have my own keep or castle http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

DEADMAN 09-13-2001 12:52 PM

Hmmm.... I know not Athkatla, major lich infestation. Trademeet would be nice, but I want to carve out my own little place and set up my own keep overlooking the ocean, maybe that lighthouse on the sword coast would be a good start.

Aurican 09-13-2001 03:14 PM

Evermeet. I only hope I could find a bit of forest there to call my own...

Silverymoon is the capital city of the Silver Marches, which is to the west of the Anauroch Desert, north of the High Forest (roughly to the northeast of Waterdeep). It's ruled by Alustriel, Chosen of Mystra and sister of Alassra Shentrantra, also known as the Simbul, Storm-Queen of Aglarond.

The Simbul is Elminster's consort. FYI on the other Seven Sisters:

- Anastra Sylune - Witch of Shadowdale. Died fighting a flight of dragons.
- Endue Alustriel - former High Lady of Silverymoon, now ruler of the Silver Marches
- Ambara Dove Falconhand - Knight of Myth Drannor, Master Harper
- Ethena Astorma (Storm) Silverhand - Bard of Shadowdale, Master Harper
- Anamanue Laeral Silverhand - Lady Mage of Waterdeep
- Alassra Shentrantra - The Simbul, Storm-Queen of Aglarond
- Qilue Veladorn - High Priestess of Eilistraee (drow elf)

The city of Dagger Falls in Daggerdale would be my idea home, at least for now. Though not the prettiest of places on Toril, it is a jewel of civilisation set between the twin threats of Zhentil Keep and the newly appeared City of Shade. Dagger Falls is an ideal place to mount scout missions and strikes into these two bastions of evil, and it is a city worth protecting IMHO.

Mark my words, the deserts of Anauroch and the scheming wizards of Zhent will spawn the greatest of the evils that Faerun will have to face in the coming years - and I would want to be there to stop them!

I would have to take Jaheria to the magical and beautiful town of Kuldahar. I mean, a city in the roots of a great tree??? It would suit her personality somewhat too........

Although, the large congregation of pubs in Beregost is mighty tempting.

Tananda 09-14-2001 10:17 PM

Baldur's Gate (I like cities). http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif
But it would be nice to have a good house somewhere in wilderness to spend a part of year there. Hmm... I think Watcher's Keep would do! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

It was renamed the Spirit Soaring after Cadderly rebuilt it.

Well, I had been thinking for Durlags Tower, but since Gedd has occupied it... I'll kick Thalanthyr out of High Hedge, and let my Clay Golems replace his Flesh Golems!
Then, I will force some wannabe-wizard (at level 8 or higher) to teach me (a level 31 half-god) how that darn Dimension Door works.

Another option would be to return to Candle Keep and beat up Ulraunt for accusing me for murder, and then take controll over that place.
