Just curious, but what is your favorite magical weapons, i figure the favorite dragon was a good post....why not this one?
|
Yeah, why not.
I must say the Vorpal Blade, who can kill with one strike. The Celestial Fury is also a favourite. see ya! |
Celestial Fury, dualwielded with Crom Faeyer
Nice thaco/damage bonusses |
I'd say the Staff of the Magi, because Mage is my favorite class, and said Staff is the ultimate weapon for said class.
|
i like Crom Faeyr, and BlackRazor. i HATE corsamyr!!!!
|
Staff of the Magi closely followed by the vorpal sword.
Never used Crom Feyr... |
I prefere the Halberd im not to sure if there is a magical halberd but i thought i might as well say anyways
|
for me its def a tie between crom feyr and the holy avenger (added with the eye of tyr).
|
Mine is maybe Staff of Rhymm +4.
|

It is a two handed +3 definately.
|
O me. I've been playing too long...
|
May i just ask what does this talking sword do
|
Most importantly it TALKS!!!!(and talks a lot mind you!you can even ask it for advice!)
Other than that is a two handed sword +3 which gives you mind shield, immunity to most mind affeccting spells! |
Varies with each character.
For my Blade, the Cutthroat, and for my Swashbuckler, The Equalizer. Trust me, that particular blade comes in handy... |
So far into chapter two, I'd have to say Arbane's short sword just because it has free action and is on my main character. With that and the Aeger armor on, he seems to be able to get near the casters enough every time.
If I see casters, I switch over to Lilacor for Minsc. SO almost any weapon that has mindshield or free action on it is going to catch my eye. It helps to even out my early defenses before I get spells up. Also, I used the little short sword to do the backstab in the sig and was impressed. Probably won't give it up for a longsword or katana unless the situation just seems right. It's thaco+2 1d6+2 freeflow action Effect: 12 second haste once per day. |
mine is the carsomyr. i cant wait till my paly gets it this game
evil doers beware for joshua paladin for right is your enemy |
Lilarcor is the most fun weapon definately
"Im not an AxE! I don't chop wood" "advice ? ..Hack and slash our way to fortune!" |

I like a dagger made by my apprentice. They called "Matias Dagger"
;) |
Hackmaster +12
|
Hhhmmmm.. favorite weapon. depends who i'm playing as. for mt sorcerer it'd be staff of the magi or Melfs minute meteors
for my barbarian celestial fury and crom faer and for minsc Lilacor |
SoA Only: Gnasher + Blackblood combo
ToB: Ixil's Spike I like Fighter/Druids :D |
is it just me or does the lilacor almost mould itself to minsc its not my favorite weapon but i dont think i can play through without it i mean minsc has boo the talking hamster so a talking sword goes hand in hand
but my favorite weapons would have to be the mighty scimtars of drizzt i used them in an edit game where i had a +5 proficiency in scimitars and two weapon style LOTS OF FUN |
FISTS:
If it was up to me i'd have to say my monks fists, with the gauntlets of Crushing and the belt of Frost giant strength, yes he gets a +13 to damage on every hit!!! and they are considered +3 weapons! As for Swords...I really love Daystar and Carsomyr! Daystar has that nasty sunlight ability which roasts vampires and other misc. undead....hehehe. I know there are other great swords but these two come to mind....I really like pounding on the undead beasties...Dragons bane looks the coolest though... Crom Faeyr seems cool but i haven't made it yet, we'll have to see.... I'm going to have to look for this celestrial Fury....asap....sounds really cool. |
Minsc and Lilarcor and Boo are the perfect combination, lol!
They should have had a special dialogue where Minsc and the sword have a conversation. |
my fav is defentaly the Celestial Fury theres nutthing better
|
In SoA: Crom Faeyr, with the strength boost, reigns supreme. Once I got it, I actually had Anomen as my tank, because he killed everything quick once he got it. If I had a second choice, it would be Carsomyr. The boost that a paladin gets from a holy sword is almost obscene.
In ToB (SPOILER if you have not played it at all): I love the Axe of the Unyielding and the Ravager both, though Foebane is really nice, too (anytime my archer gets into melee combat, he dualwields the Axe of the Unyielding and Foebane, and he usually ends the combat with more hit points than he started with). |
It depends on what character you're playing and what stage of the game you're at.
At the moment my solo Cleric/Mage is still in Chap 3 and I've only got 2 pieces of Crom Faeyr. For quite a while my 2 early in the game "must have" weapons have been: Mace of Disruption+2 (due to undead having to making saving throws or die) and Flail of Ages+3 (due to its elemental damage and chance of Slow) I've recently found a third "must have" weapon: Staff of Fire+2 (can summon lots of Lesser Fire Elementals) - it's cheap to recharge and much more effective than Wand of Monster Summoning. It's so useful, it may take the challenge out of soloing. |

Fire Elementals absolutely rule against lesser undead! Nothing but Wraiths, Vampires and (in ToB) Bone Golems can stand against them. However, that's part of the beauty of summons. -- Nifft |
No mention of the Dragon's Breath halberd?
A +4 weapon, +1 fire, +1 cold, +1 lightning, +1 acid, +1 poison. It absolutely ROCKS against all magic-users: The +4 enchantment is superior to most weapon immunities, and even if it's blocked (by Stoneskin or something), the elemental damage STILL gets through, and the bad guy gets a Spell Interrupted: Casting Failure. It's better then the Flail of Ages, until the FoA gets upgraded in Throne of Bhall. |
Staff of Magi. NOTHING beats instant invisibility that cannot be exhausted.
|
My best weapon is either casomyr or Celestial fury they rock
|
All +5.
|
Spear of Withering or Backbitter
|
Black Razor without a doubt. Its just so me :)
