she is not chaotic evil, she is neutral evil (or is it lawful?) Anyway, in ToB you can get her to change alignment to become closer to yourse if you are romancing her.

The fact that she CAN be this or that after giving her tons of eq and making sure that she doesn't fall into this or that situation is not what makes a person be able to fight. You could really give all kinds of eq like that to pretty much any character in the game and make the same claim (I would actually prefer twisting a character that has stoneskins into a fighter instead of her mainly based on hps).
The fact is she dies too easy to be considered a fighter type. Anomen is another story. I give him crom faeyr and shield of harmony and he is VERY durable and has a real nice THAC0 too. The biggest differences are the many hps and the better thac0 and fighter proficincies.

She has 63% Magical Resistance, High Dexterity.
In tough battles you do these spells anyway.
In mediuma nd small battles who cares.
She is equivalent to a decent fighter with the spells. The fighter can't much get better even if he wants to in BG2.
