I think about made a party so:

4 Paladins (Cavalier, dead hunter, inquisitor, class true)
1 cleric/mage
1 NPC (for the histories)

------------------
Principium mors est.
But when the world of the deads comes,
we will already be there.

so what exactly do you want?

Lestat 09-04-2001 01:20 AM

Which NPC is it? I would most definetly get Yoshimo, then later Imoen, since you lack the Thief's finesse.

You are weak on the spell and thief front.
4 Paladins!!! EEKKSSS.

All you need are four tanks, one healer and one thief/mage, and that makes a formidable party.

True. But what about 2h weapons and dual welding?

I have Minsc in my party and he is the only one wielding a two-handed weapon. I don't do dual weilding at all, because I hate the low THAC0 and not having the opportunity of using a shield (for the AC bonuses).

Then

3 Paladins
1 Sorcerer
1 Cleric/thief
1 NPC (any, solo for history).

------------------
Principium mors est.
But when the world of the deads comes,
we will already be there.

you guys pretty much fit in my shoe here

4 tanks, I like that!

most of the time, I go with:
monk /(or barb)
ranger
paladin (preferably Inquistor)
calivar
assasin (bounty hunter is way too powerful, no fun)
conjoner

waverider 09-05-2001 07:22 AM

no the best is
2 frong line fighters
1 thief
1 sorcer
2 cledirc/mage

I quite like the idea of having 4 paladins - you could have 1 of each kit and 1 straightforward paladin.
On second thoughts, I usually have good aligned parties, but all that self-congratulatory lawfulness would get a bit much for anyone...

Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

Using different type of fighters will make the game more exciting
I mean instead of 4 paladin, go with 1 dwarven berserker (axe) 1 human paladin (swords) 1 kensai or monk or 1 ranger but 4 tanks is very high. 2 front melee fighters and 1 cleric is enough
