Just a quick poll, which NPC's do you use for your party?

I thought of starting over with party:

Me - Assassin/Swashbuckler
Korgan
Viconia
Edwin
Jan Jansen

Then that leaves me a new problem as I don't have any other fighters than korgan. I'd like to keep Minsc, but he is not nice to edwin http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif
Yoshimo is a decent fighter though with 17 strength.

I find with this party there is good balance with fighting and magic. Little weak on the healing side of things.

how did you get sarevok on your party? cheats are losers who cant play

All what manners is, that you find it is fun to play.
You don't have to blame guy a cheating loser in single player game for crying out loud.

Sarevok is an NPC in Throne of Bhaal. He still goes "FEEL MY UNHOLY WRATH!" but his armor and Sword of Chaos are gone. And he looks like a normal fighter http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif. It would been kinda cool having a 7 foot tall skull helmed warrior on my team http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Well, you can make someone look just like him, with his blue glowy ring and portraits and stats and sprite, but thats no fun http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif Plus I hate mages http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles/mad.gif Irenicus in hell was hella lot easier!

Phat assassin those are some strong words but I play the TOB as well so that is what my current party is I guess you have not played this yet.

I think this is a well-balanced party, with 3 spellcasters, 2 healers and 2 good fighters (3 if I need Anomen).

Alright, I forgot earlier, so here it is:

In SoA:

Hi Lestat,
I don't remember which number but it was the one that says "You will fall by my hand" and "Of course, I'm the best choice".
But what I liked in that sound set was the "Yes" for critical hits and "Ugh,next time" for the critical misses.

My party is all BUT balanced, I createted It for pure fun, and guess wat?
It works perfect!!!
If you give the the right stuff, anny party can become powerfull

and finally Imoen.

Butt Kicking for Goodness!

I'll admit, I fell into the 'take the first NPCs I come across' trap.

Tancred, Cavalier
Minsc, Ranger
Jahiera, Fighter/Druid (multi-class)
Anomen, Fighter/Cleric (dual-class)
Imoen, Thief/Mage (dual-class)
Nalia, Thief/Mage (dual-class)

All in all, a very powerful group. 4 competent fighters, 4 competent spellcasters, one thief who's ok with the right magic items, 4 ok-ish healers, 5 decent shots with bows and slings and 1 giant miniature space hamster. This group can do anything... except perhaps co-ordinate all those abilities properly.

Current good-only party:

Me (CG Elvish Archer)
Minsc
Anomen
Keldorn
Nalia (to be replaced with Imoen when I get there)
Aerie

2. Keldorn (Not a good choice, but give him gloves of dexterity (18) and his armor class increases not to mention his procifiency with the cross bow.

Keldorn will stay in my party until I get Imoen back since he has to go back to his family. I'll probably replace him with Imoen then. I've invested all my proficiency slots into two-weapon stlye, long sword and katana for my main character so that he can deal out great damage with both the Daystar and Celestial Fury equipped at the same time....nasty. I better get some slots into two-handed weapon or the Holy Avenger will be pretty much useless after Keldorn leaves the group.

In ToB I swapped Cernd for Sarevok, cos I thought it would be cool!!!

The only thing I like bout Cernd is his voice. Welcome to the boards!

I'm having fun with this party I found Holy Avenger and it's a amazing sword. But damned I dont have a paladin. An idea, I can take Keldorn for Minsc but I like Minsc very much and he's very experienced he's got 700.000 xp in Chapter 2. What about Keldorn? Keldor on Minsc? Keldorn's xp, level and stats and proficiencies?

Pretty good on the offensive side with myself and minsc having 3 greater whirlwinds, only weak fighter is jaheira hp wise. Doesnt hurt that all of the chars in my party except 1 have a 19 or better strength in TOB also. And, 3 mages, need i say more? Although in the end they just became resistance sucking machines, since none of the offensive stuff helped at all.
