POLL: What is your fave moment in BG2?

I ask because i just replayed the scene where Mazzy tells Anomen he's gonna be her squire [img]tongue.gif[/img] loved it first time round, and still funny.
Just love to know what everyones fave moment was. Could be interesting.

I also like the first time I defeated a real strong enemy, Firkragg.</font>

its a tie between:

At the end of the game when minsc says "I am tired of shouting battlecries at this wizard" (or something like that... cracks me up

And anytime when Haer and Jah start fighting... liek when they first go to prominade in your party and Haer wants you to sell Jah

I have a lot of favorite moments:

When Edwin turns himself into Edwina, I always say nice rack

When Minsc goes through Umar Hills by the cave, he screams, "Look Boo! SQUIRRELS! Quick throw nuts!"

Then Jaheira asks him how he ever became a Ranger.

When Edwin as Edwina talks to Salvanas, and is torn between accepting his offer to sleep together and to kill the guy for being so sexist.

In TOB, Anomen doesn't become a knight when he's summoned. Well he and Imoen talk about how the Radiant Heart Order has Playboy-like Books full of nudie picture.

Some of the random lines screamed when a character goes in action.

"Just like old times...well except for the torture and all."--Imoen

When you just start playing the game, fresh into chapter 2, and you just KNOW this is going to be one of the best games you ever play. I loved that feeling.

The first time I played through I didnt know there was a romance option and I was stunned to find it as I played through, couldnt believe it. I rarely read the manual.

My fav. is Nalia petrifying the shadow dragon!!!!!! This happened to me when I accidentally made him hostile and he kept on doing ALL his wing buffet...until Nalia casted Chromatic orb and VOILA!!!! He's turned to stone and few moments after he was a pile of stone!!Missed the damned scales though...but still...

My favorite in SoA is a tie between getting Imoen back and killing Bodhi. ("No, I cannot lose this life...") ToB would be Sendai's enclave, the little movies, and Viconia's final lovetalk.

Killing a dragon for the first time oh yes and poking drizzt

Umm...any of Minsc's dialogues, especially the first few in the dungeon("Ohh..Oohhhh you are a smart one...etc" and the bottle one)..

Finnaly whacking Jon for the last time, not the end of the game, that makes me sad, just gettin rid of him!

I loved the spectator beholder...

Let's see other moments I enjoyed..

Anytime when Haer'Dalis pokes fun at Anomen, especially when HD feigns interest in Anomen's fighting style, only to tell him that he considers it florid, inefficient, and perfect for the stage (not the battlefield). In general, the interactions those two have are hilarious.

Just about anything Minsc says - I also found the "Look Boo, squirrels, throw nuts!" line funny.

I can't deny feeling a certain amount of satisfaction seeing the Lesser Demon Lord devour both Matron Ardulace and Phaere in the Underdark.

Oh, and when Imoen asks Valygar about the death of his parents, Valygar gets a little defensive and says, "For someone who supposedly has her soul tainted by the evil of a dead god, you remind me considerably of a chipmunk with a sugar high and a death wish." ROFL [img]smile.gif[/img]

There are probably others, but those are some that come to mind.

Right after installing BGII and running the tutorial.

I created some dialogue loop since I didn't know what to do. Then I died from attacking my own summoned skeletons.

That would be my first moment: I died in a tutorial, how nice.

Definitely the time i actually got a disentegrate spell off on Fierkragg....i hated that bast*rd and it was fun watching him turn into a pile of dust.

Beating Kangaxx for the first time, with no prior knowledge of what he can do... took I think... two days and several reloads.

I'm gonna post a "Me Too!" on that Spectator Beholder in the Saughain City. People say you can get some EXP for whacking him but no way am I gonna kill anyone that cool, Beholder of not. [img]smile.gif[/img]

P.S. SPOILER: ToB will be funnier if you don't kill him.

This is a bit silly, but i liked the part when a little girl asked Minsc if she could have Boo and he answers something like: 'No, Boo, is mine, but you can pet him and make cooing noises.' [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I third the Spectator Beholder one - ROFl...
I also loved it when Imoen said, "I don't feel like I fit in with the people in the city anymore."... in Ust Natha...
And when Minsc talks about getting you an ice weasel :D

This is more of a "D'oh!" moment:

I'd just gotten half of my butt handed to me by either vampires or that party upstairs in the Den of the Seven Vails. Anyway, I've got Jaheira dead and not many duckets. So I drag her lifeless body into the local temple of Illumater, and spring for a Raise Dead. Up pops the Flower of Life Renewed and with it everyone's favorite half-elf.

Suddenly, dialogue mode strikes, and so does Habib!

He hurls a few gold pieces into the temple, which hit Jaheira for slightly more than 1 HP worth of damage ... and she's dead, again.

That was amazingly annoying. Now I always kill him when he throws the scimitar (no rep loss, no XP gain).

my favorite moment would be when you first get imoen back becaouse she was always my favorite character in the game.

My favourite moment was the chat Keldorn and Yoshi start singing.
Or the second when I discovered that a polymorphed dragon can still breath fire.

haha, the beholder... I almost forgot about him... that is definately one of THE funniest moments in BG
