I am sure someone posted this months before but back then I wasn't on the forum so not sure.
Anyway if there is to be a film who would you have in it?

1/ Main Character???
2/ Imoen...C.Diaz?
3/ Jaheira.. J.Moore...who else
4/ Minsc... Not sure
5/ Aerie...
6/ Irenicus.

Irenicus would be the most important character to get right. At least for me, the quality of the villian seems to make for a more epic movie then a good hero. If you really really really hate the bad guy, then you really really want to see him go down. With that being said you would need a really powerful actor to play Irenicus, one that can project an aura of evil with facial expressions and their voice. I would vote for John Malkovich.

For Jaheira I would choose Marina Sirtis (Councilor Trois).

you can all deride me if you like but I think Nick Cage for Minsc and Milana Jovovich (I think that's her name, I'm referring to the chick off of the Fifth Element) as Jahiera...

nick cage doesnt have the body for minsc. and irenicus could be crisetopher walken.

I think Mila Jovavich (spelling?) would be good for Aerie.

Christopher Walken would have been the perfect Irenicus 20 years ago, but I think is a bit too old now. John Malcovitch was a good suggestion for him.

Viconia could be played by a painted-up Virginie Ledoyen - that would be something.

I always imagine Edwin as an older mage, not so young as he looks in his picture, so I think Christopher Walken would work well for him.

Cameron Diaz was a good suggestion for Imoen, though there may be someone better out there. Jaheira, Korgan and Keldorn would be hard to cast.

Man it'd be the sh*t if there was a GOOD baldur's movie made.

Yeah like some of those ideas... But Nalia would be Drew Barrymore, Anomen, andy Garcia, Edwin - Gary Oldman (for at least 1 BRITISH ACTOR)
and maybe if you wanted to have David Warner as Irenicus, he does the VO in the game and is a quite accomplished actor himself, in 2 titanics ,, tron etc.... anyway nice ideas comin from u guys 2

I've always figured Minsc as a little younger and Arnold is pretty old by now..otherwise he would have been just perfect. (The accent and all...)

I like the idea of Danny de Vito for Jan! And I´m thinking Cher for Bodhi, and good ol´ Nastascha Kinsky could be Jaheira. I know this is a bit of an old cast, but hey!, Leonardo DiCapprio could get a small part as the half-demonic Haer D´alis, he could do the famous magic trick: Get rescued and then disappear.

Sean Connery can pull off an excelent Keldorn. I woul recommend Jeremy Irons for Irenicus (Die Hard III)
Hale Barry for Viconia - excelent idea.
Minsc is hard to cast - need a young muscular guy. If Cameron Diaz could act, she would make a good Imoen. Calista FLockhart is good choice for Aerie. For Korgan I picture John Rhys-Davies - he played Professor on Sliders and currently plays Gimli in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Leonard DeCrapio deserves to play
1) some random beggar to be killed to lower the reputation
2) Neeber to be killed for annoyance factor
3) green slime? rat?... better just keep him far away from the movie.

I have seen the light! Minsc is to be played by none other than Bruce Willis (I hope it's not one Bruce too many...). And, yes, we are some out here who actually likes the guy.

Who I would like to see:
Keldorn=SEAN CONNERY, don´t you see the recemblance or at least hear it?? Make Keldorn a leader that voice is Sean himself! I think thatone is the easiest pick of all.
Valygar=John Travolta was a good idea they look alike.
No one has mentioned CERND. Perhaps Tom Cruise? (With that long hair, they could go?)

I agree that Minsc is hard to cast, Arnold is a little to old (besides they aren´t that alike).
I think Walken for Irenicus was a excellent idea and the best proposal for Jaheira yet has to be me (if I haven´t missed anyone else suggesting it) Liv Tyler! She´s allready playing elf in Lord of the rings so she knows whats it about! And she´s hot!

Clancy Brown (The Kurgan from the original "The Highlander") as Sarevok! He even does the mean-ass grunts when he smacks people with his great big mother-f**kin' sword! Just like Sarevok.

Okay having thought some more on this here is my cast list...and this is assuming that the heroes are a party of good adventurers:

Main Character(Fighter)not sure here, there are so many choices and would it be male or female?

Minsc- someone Van Disel, the guy from Fast and Furious, he has the physique and hopefully could act the part of an insane tree-hugger. Failing Van Disel, what about Bruce Willis?

David Warner for Irenicus. Good actor and he did the voice, too. We can only hope.

Anomen = The guy who plays Aries in the Xena/Hercules series - he's the splitting image of the guy!
