Hi, I'm halfway through chapter 3 on my second time through Shadows of Amn. At this point in the game I've acquired loads of key's and items which have been used and aren't needed anymore but are still in my equipment. Does anyone know of a mug, sorry, entrepeneur in the game who will give me good gold for this rubbish?

No, the stuff you use like keys and notes can't be sold. Why would a shopkeeper want maevars strongbox key for instance when you've already taken the stuff out of it? Some things like the book of kaza you can sell but not many. Just chuck them in a container somewhere.

Many NEEDED items can't be sold, even after they have been used. And others, will always only be worth just a couple of gold or less. If you have used it, and they wont buy it from you, there is no reason to keep it. If you want to save it, just in case you think I am completely wrong, just drop it on the ground, because Quest items dont disappear (like normal Items do).

I can't imagine needing gold. By the time I finish chapter 2, I had over 100,000 gold.

I had a lot of gold by the end of the game. I just went through and bought a lot of cool stuff in the stores.

If u are a ranger and have completed your stronghold quest u can use the rangers cabin to dump your stuff in

well..doesnt really matter what class you are. Just use your class specific stronghold

I just leave all my unneeded items on a table in the copper coronet.

I put all my excess crap in the chests that used to belong to Smaeluv Orcslicer and his pack of thugs in the Promenade...

Use the little disc cubby hole near the armourers in Waukeens. You'll be coming back here often in the game and it saves 20 odd hours travelling across the map if you forget stuff.
