I personally, haven't had any of those 'amazing' characters yet, but have any of you made a character that seemed out of the ordinary, supernatural, practically a god? Well give the stats and what they used here, also tell best damage, best AC, ect. Once I have found my calling, I'll post here.

My best so far is a half-orc Level 19 Kensai. His base stats were all naturally rolled (i.e. no ctrl-shift-8 action!) and took me about 2 hours to get:

Oh yeah, i removed the cap, so its level 981238787, and I created like 15 dragons and solod them all.

We're talking legit characters here. Not hacked ones.

I have a dwarven barbarian that can kick ass, but I used the Ctrl+8 cheat for him so I'm not sure if that counts as a hack. anyway, he had a normal strengh of 21,(from the Tasks in hell) a raged strengh of 25, con was about 20, dex was 18 the rest don't matter (wis int chr) but the best thing about him is that he used the flail of ages in his main hand, and the +3 Axe that does cold damage in the other with thac0s of -7 and -5. This meant that with his 6-odd attacks per round and his 200-odd hps, he could kick the asses of 4 pit fiends at once (using potions)

personally, i don't have a whole lot of fun with chars that you have to spend 2 days rolling stats on. after about 5 or 6 rolls, i am bored as heck and just want to play. so whatever that last roll was, is the one.

I'm running a highly successful Undead Hunter Paladin. He is a supreme tank, and absorbs massive damage, while dishing out vast harm to the Undead. He's especially looking out for that Vampire Lady Bodhi, to see if he can Turn her.

The game has a heavy emphasis on undead type critters. So a Vampire Hunter does well.

I felt that the Carsomyr Holy Avenger sword is a bit overpowered. Besides, I wanted him to be a shield-oriented paladin. A Protector rather than a Destroyer.

His equipment is basically tank stuff -
Red Dragonscale armour, won in combat
Azuredge axe ( thrown & melee)
Mace- one he bought for demon killing. Plus 5 against demons. For those odd clay Golems, too.
Light crossbow of Speed, with a selection of magic bolts. (seldom used)
Stonefire axe(for trolls) and Daystar as backup melee weapons.
Helm of Balduran. Gauntlets of Healing. Boots of Speed. Belt of Inertial Barrier. Cloak of Displacement. Ring of Earth Control and Ring of Gaxx.

He has 5 shields for different uses- Shield of Harmony, Saving Grace, the Fortress Shield, Shield of Balduran, and Shield of Reflection for missiles - though he never uses it!
With the maximum configuration for protection, he can get up to -14 AC.

Watch out with paladins in Throne of Bhaal! They gain a new weakness: evil clerics can turn them!

this guy actually had to be brought DOWN for him to work in ToB! he achieved lvl 42 by the end, and had everyone running from him. his highest damage is about 80 (critical hit and lightning strike), and his MR got quite above 100%.

With CUHM and barbarian rage has 171 hp and str 25. Currently wielding blade of roses and Namarra, also has Daystar. Has rather poor AC, but that does not hinder him much - with that much HP he can afford being hit. But not much survives his onslaught.

115% Fire Resistance
30% Magical Resistance
50% Magical Damage Res.
70% Cold Reistance
100% Disease, Poison, Electric Reistance
Immune to missiles and +1 or lower weapons.

2 things

1. he'd be a monk seeing he's a fist fighter
2. he'd have a much higher INT seeing he's an intellegent fighter as well as a hard as nails bloke.

Well my favorite charecter is my sorcerer cloud he could eat anyone but highest stats by the end of the game was a nuetral evil elven kensai I soloed him through BG1 and BG2, this was difficult anyway.
Str 21 Tome in bg1 and you get another 2 at the end of the game
Dex 20 tome
Cons 18 bg1 tome normal highest for an elf is 17
Int 18 im no ging to bother writing tome anymore
widom 14
Cha 15

The items were the usual fighter load of stuff Celestial fury and eventually Crom Fayer and so forth.
