Does anyone have any tips on getting through Bodhi's lair (the first time)? My main character (Barbarian, Level 11) keeps getting level drained. Also, the Shield of Balduran was great for the Cult of Eyeless quest. But, now that it's over with do I still need to keep the shield for future quests, or should I sell it and try to get as much money back from the high price I paid for it. Thanks.

Get your barbarian to rage it makes him immune to level drain as does the cleric spell negtive plane projection.

I use the negative plane protection for my other characters, but it doesn't last that long and my Druid (Jaheira) can only memorize 3 of the spells and they don't last very long either.

There are a few items that protect from level drain. If you have one of them, use the char wearing it as a point man. Also, you could always let the point man just take the pain and then use Restoration on him at the end of each battle. ~.^

Rage prevents level drain, you know your barbarians special ability and jaheira can wear the amulet aran lindvail gave you which protects as well
