how many bags of holding can you have?
I cheated 2, but they both hold the same stuff i.e. they are the same bag.

You can have 1 bag only, adding another will not "double" the space.

where do you get the bag of holding from?

You will get it in Spellhold, after you have been thrown into the dungeon and have to go thru it. Just remember to check every room, and every container. It's rather easy to find..

For those who are interested in such things, there's a cheat up on Baldurdash that increases the size of the Bag of Holding dramatically. Can't say I've tested it; I find the Bag more than sufficient as it is.

And as of this moment (having just checked), it appears that Baldurdash is down. :(

I have actually had two bags of holding and they each held separate items. I did however have them on two different characters. To get the second bag of holding, you'll have to use shadowkeeper. I felt guilty after a while so I decided to ditch bag shortly after.

If you want to make things even easier for yourself, buy the add-on, Throne of Baal, and visit the first level of Watcher's Keep while in SoA. (You can do this.) You'll be able to buy or find both a potions storage unit, and a missiles storage unit. Each holds an enormous amount of gear.

and while ur at WK u can also get a bag of unlimited +1 arrows and another with +1 bolts

Or you can buy 2 more i think in Saradush if you have ToB.
Doing the missing spellbook quest will make you buy it from the storekeeper. :D

But Eb, you have to finish SoA and be inside the ToB add-on to buy the stuff at Saradush. You don't have to leave SoA to enter Watcher's Keep, and get the goodies that are for sale there, or on the first floor of the Keep, itself. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Thatz cuz there is no bag of holding in Saradush, unless you bring one in from BG2.

i was going to keep quite but, there is a Bag of Holding in Saradush. You can purchase it from the highly stocked mage after you do the find the stolen magik book quest...

that guy does have some pretty neat spells, and equipment... i stole all of his level 9 and 8 spells of him... now edwin and imoen are a bad a$$ couple...
