Which NPC do you pick every time? Keldorn, Minsc, Nalia(Waa-Haa!)? I always end up with Aerie in my party. As I mostly play a good aligned party, I never seem to get past her. She really twisted me heads. The one who´ll never get a chance with me is Cernd. I don´t like an NPC who can only reach level 14 that much.

Hmmm...both times that I went all the way to the end I had pretty different parties. The only one who made it in both games was Valygar. I'm not even sure why I keep picking him...I don't really like him too much. For some reason I just do, then by the time I realize he sucks it's too late so I just keep 'em.

I always have Jaheira, even in my evil parties. Although my last time through she pissed me off and become a permanent statue in the Copper Coronet. I usually have Edwin, as he is the best spell chucker.

Keldorn I have in my good parties, but he is an equipment hog. He needs the best armor and equipment to be worthwhile, IMHO.

Has anyone ever picked Haer´Dalis or Cernd?

I like Cernd, but I only sometimes have him.
The Tiefling is worthwile, but is not actually very good for a bard. (He is great, but could be better.)

I would use him more, but I consider him unlucky. He always seems to get hit, whatever he is wearing, more than others!

I have hear Dallas, I have to say so far he sucks a bit. He has some nice offensive and defensive spins and mind shield, but in all honesty, a constitution of 9 really blows. Currently level 10 or so and has only 40 hps....

that would be Minsc... I always play goodaligned... I think I should try evil next time through

Jaheira and Yoshimo. Yoshimo still is the best thief of the bunch...

Both times I played a good party I've ended up with Minsc, Valygar, Jaheira, Imoen and Aerie. After I finish my evil party I'm playing good for pantaloons, and I'll probably end up with them all again.

I could never do without Jaheira, she's my alltime favorite NPC.

My favorite NPC (next to Minsc) is Yoshimo. I currently have Jaheria, Minsc, Yoshimo, Aierie, Nalia. I'm keeping bothe Aierie and Nalia because this game is so magic intensive.

I read somewhere that you lose Yoshimo in Asylum. If so I hope when I pick up Imoen that she's a very good thief because Nalia is next to useless as a thief.
If Imoen is not a progressable thief. Then I will have to trade Aierie for Jan.

There is always Valigar in my party. And Anomen, and Viconia, and Imoen (I do not like her too much, but... I think, I should have her http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif ).
And I'm sorry to say this (since so many players definately like Jaheira), but I just hate her and never, never let her in my party. Actually she was killed in BG1 (you know how it happens with unpleasant NPC's.... http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif ).

always Aerie. every time i play through using NPCs, i choose her. her Mage abilities are rivaled only by Edwin, but i play good. and her cleric abilities are rivaled by none, meaning that she kicks ass plain and simple!
