Fighters and monks get Nalia's keep as a stronghold, cleric gets a room in a temple (dependent on alignment/kit), paladin gets a room in Order of Radiant Hart. Is this what you are looking for??

For your paladin, you need to do the Windspear Hill quest and rescue Garren's child (no, killing the red dragon is NOT necessary). Once you do that, talk to Garren and head to Temple District (where the Order of Radiant Hart is). Go into the room behind the chair in the main hall and talk to the man in the room, he will say that you are now a welcome member and tell you to see someone out in the main hall for quests.

You will get 3 quests from the order, 4 if you did not kill the red dragon, I think (it has been a while...). As for the room, it is pretty useless since you CANNOT rest nor store stuff in it.

People always talk about they hate their stronghold, but it never really bothered me. If you're a true adventurer, you shouldn't be spending a whole lot of time there, anyway. I'd rather be off smiting some evil than sitting around twiddling my thumbs in some stronghold.

I consider it as part of the game, if you like it, then take it; if you don't like it, then leave it. No real harm is done.

Some of the strongholds are funny, though. If you attack someone in the thief stronghold, everyone starts yelling stuff like "The boss is on a rampage!". =D

Don't you just LOVE the stronghold of the rangers? We get to have our own cabbin in the Ummar Hills! god i just love the refreshing sight of the forest! Plus there's plenty of cabinet space! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...les/tongue.gif

Yea Paladins aren't interested in castles and keeps and towers and such, they are knights who go to battle evil, all they need is a place to hold their armor and go pray at <grin> Anything else is material that would get in their way of their duty.
