LET'S VOTE...this is what will do, we will post are characters and then we will vote on the best one (who is superior to all the others) you can vote only once and only post one character.This should be interesting... I know it's similar to my last topic but, hey i'm a newbie to the boards.

I haven't posted my character yet, but I will do. Should we have 2 categories - 'best unhacked character' and 'best hacked character' since a lot of people 'tweak' their stats with Shadowkeeper or make their own kits? It will be hard to compete for best hacked character since it can be taken to ludicrous levels.
At any rate, I took 15 minutes to make a pretty invincible character. Here are the results: Class: Fighter/Cleric/Mage Level: 40/40/40 (with 20+ level patch) Stats: all 25's AC: -11 HP: 211 Thaco: -29 Main -27 offhand # attacks: 5 Saves: Range from -7 to -12 Robe: Armored Robe of Venca (1 base AC) Bracer: Gauntlet of Weapon Expertise w/ perm Free Action & Chaotic Commands Helm: Ioun Stone of Defense 25% all resistances, +1 saves, regeneration, etc Amulet: Amulet of Power Rings: Ring of Gaxx (x2) Cloak: Cloak of Mirroring Boots: Boots of Speed Belt: Belt of Inertial Barrier Weapon 1: +5 Flail w/ holy avenger properties Weapon 2: +5 Flail w/ staff of magi properties & Crom properties Quick Slots: Wand of Horrid Wilting, Cloudkill, Fireball w/ 100 charges each Can cast 9 mage spells of every level & 12 cleric spells from every level. I didn't test the character too much, but do know turn undead was able to instantly kill any vampire and lich I encountered. My *simulcram* was able to solo Firkraag, demilich, 2 mind flayer, 2 adamantite golems, and an elder orb simultaneously. |

Are we counting the equipment too? cause if not a monk or spellcaster is automatically the best cause they dont need anything.

I used Shadowkeeper, Infinity Engine Editor Pro, and the in game cheats.

As for non-hacked characters, I think given the right gear, Edwin is the best. The extra spells he gets makes him superior to any created character.
Someone is bound to argue in favor of a dual classed character, but I'd still take the extra spells. Also, imo 99% of people who dual class a character use an experience point cheat when they're level 1. |

Okay this is a non hacked charackter BUT i did remove the BG2 exp cap and I've built it up trough BG1 (tomes http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
it's now a lvl 12 fighter (pure fighter) / lvl 30 mage (total exp is about 7.000.000 (and I'm playing solo and Just entering the underdark) I didnt play trough with the same char over and over again.. I wish BG1 would have had the kensai kit then I would have lvl 12kensai lvl 30 mage, that would have been great... my stats are : Str: 19 Dex: 19 Con: 19 Wis: 19 Int: 15 Cha: 14 It took me about three hours to roll 4 18's in the good stats and acceptable ones in the others, but I've red thetre are more tomes than just one for every stat, if this is true then i'm going to see if I can restart all over http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif (im a munchkin I know http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif Boran |
these are my two char. i've removed the exp cap though (get to level 50)
my human assasin\mage called tessa is unhacked: she's a level 11 assasin and level 11 mage STR:17 DEX:19 CON:18 INT:19 WIS:13 CHA:08 (i've used the books on her) She has : the robe of Vecna the ring of human influence the ring of earth control metaspell infulence amulet girdle of hill giant strength staff of power staff of fire+2 cloak of protection the ring of dander sense and the dagger of tessa. ---------------------- my hacked charector is called HE'shash and is a half-orc barbarian hunter (my kit). thats the only hacked part of him though. he's at level 19 and his stats are: STR:20 (I don't know how though i didnt use books and he started with 19) DEX:18 CON:19 INT:16 WIS:13 CHA:14 HP:138 Thaco:2 he has in his inventory: helm of balduran shadow dragon scale armour Crom Faer gantlets of weapon Expertise ring of human influence ring of the ram periapt of proof against poison Belt of enertial barrier boots of speed mace of destrupion+2 celestial fury Daystar the Equilizer cloak of mirroring horn of blasting rod of resorection bag of holding a tear of bhaal and the shield of balduran. ------------------ http://website.lineone.net/~mark.langridge/MNO3A3.gif Bruce The Aussie, Camp Barbarian Hunter OHF jester of LH and Master Beastmaster of the clan of the Kats |
