I've beaten it four times. My first party was a dwarven fighter,Minsc, Jahiera, Anomen,Imoen,Aerie. The rest of my games have all been Minsc,Jahiera,Imoen,Viconia,Aerie with the main character differing each time. My next party when I finish BG! will be Draggor(Kensai),Minsc,Jahiera,Imoen,Nalia with the last lot free for different characters and open for TOB.

first I played the game trough with this party :

Me (half elf kensai)
Imoen (when she dropped I just let a space open (used that space for persons with a quest)
minsc (he's sooo funny)
Jaheira (a bitch but hey ... she's good)
Aerie (wot a babe (my preferred romance http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif (gotten only halfway trough the romance though, then I beat irenicus his ass http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif
Korgan (carsomyr+5 .. need more explanation ??)

and now I go solo as kensai mage (still only in chapter 2 but i'm lvl 12 kensai lvl 21 mage (no exp cap)

my third time i'll go as duo with aerie so probably kensai/thief...

Maybe I am just not good at being a thief, but the thief in my party only for find trap, disarm trap, and pick lock.
Main tank is Inquisitor, Kensai works as a dmg dealer.
Archer pick off caster, Cleric heals.
Mage set to be disabler with confusion, ... I rarely use any offensive spell.

First time:

Second time:

I'm on my third now, soloing a F/M/T. Soloing is fun fun fun!!

I'll play an evil party after that, will probably play some kind of thief, and take Viconia, Korgan, Edwin, maybe Jaheira, and use the fifth slot for NPC quests. Also am going to play male, I want a romance that doesn't make me cringe!
