Some advice sought. My current party consists of my character (kensai), Minsc, Jaheira, Yoshimo, Nalia & Aerie. I have completed the Slaver quest, Jaheira's curse, Nalia's keep, & obtained Lilacor from the sewers.
I am now thinking of doing Korgan's quest. That will entail having to dump someone to make room for him. I figure I'll need the two mages (Nalia & Aerie) and Yoshi, so that leaves either Jaheira or Minsc.
Problem is, I think the romance with Jaheira is going strong, while Minsc has adopted Aerie as his witch.
If I dump Jaheira will the romance be terminated?
If I dump MInsc, how will he react to not being around to protect Aerie?

Yes, if you dump Jaheris the romance will terminate, I suggest you dump Yoshimo for Korgan.

Why Yoshi? Isn't ne a better thief than Nalia?

You want Jah for the romance, and Minsc is , well, MINSC! ( and Boo)

Get some potions of Master Thievery for Nalia, and you don't need Yoshimo

dump nalia, get edwin. or, dump aerie, get viconia. dump minsc, get korgan. dont dump jaheira. EVER. shes the most versatile, pardon the naggy attitude, but thats all. minsc is stupid, in everyhting. his humor rocks, but he sux fighting.

I say lose Minsc. There are better fighters in the game and IMHO he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if he wanted to. :D

Yes, I'd say dump Minsc. Rangers suck, and his Berserker rage makes him hit other party members.

I don't know why some people don't like Nalia. I think she is a better Mage than Edwin.

1. Her signet ring gives her +2AC, +2 saving throws, and 50% Fire Resist

2. She can still use Cloak/Ring of Protection.

3. She can use Short Bows.

4. With a potion of perception or two, she is as good a thief as you need.

No question about it dump Yoshimo

hehe,ok mabye not all of you,,but how can ou not like Minsc man? He fighting sux? I dont think so,,give him the right swords and he will knocked down anything,i think he is the best fighter in the game..ok Korgan is good with a axe,but thats all he is good with,,say somehow you lose his axe (well i lost Valygars Katana once,i supouse you can lose a Axe as well) then what are you going to do with him? He will suck,say you lose Minsc two handed sword,wel will still be good with Bows and Maces.oh yeah,i say drop Naila or Yoshi

Yoshimo is definitely the one to drop.

He is a good thief, way better than Nalia or Imoen. But then, I prefer to play my own thief.

you people have no repsect for the legend that is minsc. In any game I play minsc is by far the best fighter and I have completed 9 full games as wel as many starts so I can say I have a fair idea. He has red dragon scale armour. and ac of -7 duel wielding crom faeyer and daystar. he kicks practically anyones arse!!

Right on Azure,though i perfer him with Two Handers,,but same brutel desruction..I never played a game with Yoshi..well i palyed all the way till he...err..did that thing he did,but that game got messed up anyway..so i had to start anew and never got him..and beside me Minsc holds the most kills,and hes only behind 3 or so

And? Anybody dualling Crom Faeyr and Daystar is going to be hard. May as well be another character that can go up to Grand Master in the weapons (Lord Raptor did with Crom Faeyr and Celestial Fury)
