I am new to the forum so hi!
I've been playing BG1 IWD and BG2!
I fing the battles against Dragons and Irenicus really easy! is it me or does everyone think they should be harder?
In the final battle I used three spells: Breach, True Sight, Breach again...
boring!
Kangaxx and the Twisted Rune party was way more interesting!!!!!!
Any one got any views on how to beat Kangaxx easily?

Kangaxx is an Undead creature,and can be hit by items of plus 4 and over.
You can fake out his attacks with a Wizard Eye spell, or use swarms of summonned critters to distract him..
Melf's Magic Meteors can hit him.
He's susceptible to the Daystar's Sunray blast.
He can be hit by the darts made by the Cloak of Stars - try em poisoned by an assassin.
His power is neutralized completely by a scroll that is on sale at any good temple.
You can bypass his Maze spell attack with a Berserker. Minsc can work, but must be Berserk.

What is a Daystar?
I have all the weapons an stuff in BG2, but it looks like I've mised something!
Mace of Disruption+2? only have +1.

Its in the crooked crane in the gate district, use detect traps to spot the secret door.
Be sure to get it, its so powerfull that i still use it at the end of the game.

The daystar is a longsword that you get at the beginning of the game . It's in the city gate's inn, behind a illusionned door. Be carefull for the lich.

And the mace of disruption can be upgraded to +2 with some illithium.(sir sarles's quest)

Cromwell can upgrade the mace of disruption if you have illtihium ore

Daystar's a Longsword +2 that is very effective against undead. There's a bug with it though - you can't hit Kangaxx's demilich form with it even though it's +4 vs. undead. Hunt around the City Gates district for hidden areas. You'll have to fight for it. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Mace of Disruption +1 can be upgraded to +2 with some PURE illithium. Cromwell can do this for you. Do the Sir Sarles quest from the Temple of Helm, after you complete the Unseeing Eye quest, for more details.

A villain has escaped me, and I have gone through the game 2 1/2 times!!!

Who is this Kangaxx? Did I beat him? What quest is this?

Kangaxx can be found near Mea avers guildhall in the docks district,

He asks you to return hes bones wich are in the bridge district and in a tomb you find during the unseeing eye quest.
Watch out though, he is the toughest opponent in the game!!!

Just make sure you have enough +4 or above weapons for the demi lich version, if you have a berserker (great, enrage him/her) or else Spell Immunity (ADJ) or Protection from Undead will protect you from the infinite amount of Imprisonment spells he casts at you.

One warning - don't cast protection from undead on all your party before he changes to the Demi-Lich. Let him talk first!! I didn't and spent quite a long time hacking at the normal form (750+ hps of damage) after he should have been well dead, because he could see any of my party to say his final evil words to.

well I obviously missed this guy...

Well, you're not to be blamed. As for me, I was just in one of my bored, 'I wonder what's in this house' moods while wandering the Docks. I annoyed Cromwell the smith, a couple of monks and a few thieves, but upon entering a seemingly unassuming house I found myself under attack by MINOTAURS! After mustering some bewildered resistance, I journeyed further into the house, wondering what on earth could justify a few minotaurs in Athkatla. Then I found the last remains of Kangaxx, the Demi-Lich - and the rest is history.

You will find it in a pool of blood in Bodhi's Lair (the main map where the spider lair is accessible), usually near the end of Chp 3 if you are working for Shadow Thieves. The pool of blood is located in the Northwest corner of the map.
