Who did you find harder to beat,Fikraag or Kangaxx?

I've killed all Firkraag and the Shadow dragon while with a lvl 10-12 party, and I can't kill Kangaxx with the same party, so I'm gonna have to say Gaxx is harder.

Firkraag was harder. The kangaxx demi-lich was easy. I just used korgans rage and was gone in an instant.

Kangaxx is definetely harder. All those imprisonment spells i just can't take them.

I thought Firkraag was harder than kangaxx. I kill him with one guy without protection.
Whith Firkraag i put on a wizard with boots of speed and cloak of mirroring. I ran around in circles while backup mages kept spell striking him. Died 1000 x. |
Definitely Kangaxx - you wouldn't stand a chance without some protection of some sort.

Depends who you are pitting against Kangaxx or the red dragon, for example a berserker/mage (solo) will have a much harder time dealing with the red dragon than Kangaxx, which is my case.

Hard to say. They're both so different. It took me less attempts to kill Kangaxx, but I was a high level when I met him (wait till he meets my Chicken lord - doom!)

Kangaxx. I first fought him very early October, just after BG2 shipped out. There was nothing on any board anywhere on a strategy to beat him. I must've done 10 reloads trying pretty much everything before I worked the strategy out.

I vote Firkraag. At least Firkraag doesn't need to die first to get hard. And, like you say, Kangaxx just needs to come up against the right combination of spells, items and abilities and FOOF! He dies. Against Firkraag I had a battle that lasted half and hour, with both sides healing and casting and attacking.

Firkrag i just cast gate, let the pit fiend take to brunt, and pounded the hell outa him with celestial,blade of roses. kagnaxx i just used a wizard eye and did much the same thing except i used the holy avenger. Kangaxx was most deffenetly harder. As Memnoch said,I also fought Kangaxx very early before there were stratagys on every board and he was very hard to beat. I had to devise my own stratagy through much trial and error.

Firkrag is easy all you gotta do is get 1) Cloak of Reflection 2)Cloak of mirroring 3)Lightning bolts position one guy w/cloak O reflection on one side and a mage w/ cloak O mirroring on the other and launch a ligtning bolt at the other guy they just keep bouncing through him easy |
I don't use any AI exploits or any other little tricks (cloudkill, wizard eye, etc etc), and I have to say that Gaxx is just too tuff to defeat with his imprisonment spells.
Firkraag just takes time, enuff potions on yer party and you can just beat him down. I don't know about anybody else, but my part was at a much lowerel level when I fought Firkaag, than it was when I fought Kangaxx, so I guess Firkagg was the tougher one. But to contradict myself they were both reload moments !

Ah, you'd remember Kangaxx if you'd fought him. He's a flying skull... and he would have killed you first time round, if only because you'd be unprepared for his extroadinary capabilities.

I have to say depend on the party combination too. My party with archer in it can take down Filkragg ( and other dragons ) fairly easy. But the lich is one huge sucker. I reloaded quite a few times. But with a protection scroll, he went down easily. So I say Filkragg is harder
