I'm trying REALLY hard to summon the cowled wizards, my main char.'s a sorcerer, and he's casting so much his hands cought fire !!!

What's wrong here ???? ... some details to accompany this question:
-its a MP-game, converted to single player
-i finished all the quests Teos gives you, I have the planar sphere
-i have a druid and a fighter in my party
-evryone's around twelvish lvl

...and you probably have a licese cast spells [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yeah, I know... If I were the CW, I would banish yer sorry arse to the abyss :D

You should be grateful you don't have to pay 5000 gp for a license.

Well, i've played through the game a couple a times, only buying the license my first time through. Which i regretted later, because i really disliked the attitude of the cowles in comparison to their powers.

So no, i didnt buy a license, .... but ....

For example: If you're a mage/cleric, you wont be able to summon the cowles either, since even your mage-spells are listed as cleic-spells, which are allowed. So there are only three possibilities:
-sorcerers spells are listed as clerical/druidical
-finishing all Teos's quests automatically gets you a license
-bug

I looked at baldurdash allready, but I'll look again,
Evrybody's sure that their sorcerer spells DID summon cowles ??

Ive had that problem 2.... I got them 2 come 1 rime, then I had to leave that area and go to another b4 they would come again... Then one I killed the Cowled enforcers they neva came again :( So i didnt get the 2 cool scrolls again :(

Sorcerers most definitely cast Mage spells... I relish teaching the Cowled Wizards a thing or two about magic. ;)

Try hurting innocent people and causing a disturbance ( i know it'll hurt your rep, but your tryin to kill the mage police, right?) They will probly come, because thats what i did and they also had a "guarded escort" freakin guards did more damage than the wizards

This might seem obvious,but...

make sure it is an attack spell. They won't show up for PI, mirror image, stoneskin, etc. or any of the "blue" or "white" spells iirc.

not only is it not obvious, it's wrong. i consistently got the CW to show up by casting spells like stoneskin, invisibility, polymorph self, and knock. even nahal's dweomer and chaos shield attracts their ire.

Then maybe his problem is a common one, cause they won't show up for me unless I am wasting someone. Protecting myself seems to get by.

Well, the firt time i casted spells,
mister cowled-informer shows up to tell me im not allowed to do that.
He pissed me off, so i had to kill the messenger,
maybe that's the problem ??

Kinda like not being able to kill bodhi, if she cant say her last words, the cowles wont come, if their messenger doesnt introduce them first ??

Tried killing people by the way, but the fighters in my party cant hold their own against the amnish centurions :*(
3 attacks per round , THAC0 4 , 101 hp ... they're getting my respect, (definetly when 8 of them are killing my fighter faster than he can say "auw" )
