So I decide I'll use the Infinity Engine Explorer to make me some 'personal' weapons.
But here's my problem: I cant think of a good name to his two-handed sword!
Does anyone out there have a suggestion on what I can name the sword?</font>

Give us some info on the abilities of the sword. It'll be easier to name it if we know what it does.

<font color="gold">Havent really decided that yet. But it'll be in the same damage factor as the Carsomyr, and be usable only by him. Maybe it'll set my con some points up. And it will give protection against poison/acid.
Maybe something like that.</font>

Hmm... I've always been better at naming persons rather than weapons myself, but try these on for size:
Venom's Edge
Hardring
Nature's Answer (good name for a Ranger's weapon IMO)
Thorn of Vitality

chaos blade
Shadow bringer
flesh cleaver
disembowler
grave maker
hunter
Mortis

Oh and by the way, i think you should call his blade either "Blade of Croydon", "Aragorn's Cherished Blade of Bludgeoning" or just "Jeff". Good luck and I hope some sensible solutions come your way!!! (allthough i do like Mr Fluffy)

Elendil's Sword was called Narsil. It was shattered when Sauron killed Elendil in combat. The hilt-shard was used by Isildur to cut the One Ring from the hand of Sauron, thus wining the Last Battle of the Last Alliance. The Shards of Narsil were kept by Elrond, in Rivendell. as far as i know, it has no special abilities other than being an extremely potent weapon (+5 or maybe even +6). given its history with Sauron, it might have extra potency when facing demons.

You know, with everyone trying to reinact the characters from "the Lord of the Rings" they overlook some of the other characters. Such as the Hobbits: Frodo; Bilbo; Sam; Merry; Pipin (these last two could be thieves!). Or even Brormir (fighter), Gimli (fighter/barbarian)and Legolas (who is my personal favourite, as an archer. I already have his THAC0 at -12 with some weapons and bracers at level 9!). Maybe even Saruman (wizard), Elrond (fighter), Arwen (the elf who helps Frodo to get to Rivendale as a fighter/cleric), Lurtz (the nasty half-orc fighter), Gil-Galad (fighter), Galadriel (druid) or Celeborn (archer).
But I would go with the real name of the weapon. I would name it Andùril - "Flame of the West". Give its real name at the start, then what it is otherwise known as after it.
