Right. Bear with me for this one.

A while ago, while posting under a different name to a Deja BG discussion group, I thought of an idea for a story. What would Sarevok do, after having vanquished his brother but being kicked out of Baldur's Gate for being a scumbag? I bandied about a few ideas... the thought of him becoming a brigand was dull. The thought of him going south, to try and stir up a war with Amn from the Amnish side of the border, was more likely. Perhaps he'd just stay in Baldur's Gate, trying to regain his place as a major player in politics.

Then, it hit me.

HE'D GET CAPTURED BY IRENICUS!

Of course! If not the PC, then who would Irenicus steal a soul from? And so, from that, came the idea of the Evil Party - Sarevok, Zhalimar the Cleric, Winski Pertorate the Mage, Tazok the Half-Ogre Bezerker, Angelo the ex-head of the Flaming Fist and Slythe the Assassin make a perfectly rounded party!

So, that's my next saved game, courtesy of Shadowkeeper, Infinity Explorer and multiplayer! More as it develops...

If you wanted to be really bizarre, you could have Irenicus capture the party from Icewind Dale by mistake, only to be defeated bythem while the Child of Bhaal sets up some kind of magical goods emporium in Bladur's Gate (they always do, these adventurers).

Thelma: "Yes... I suspected as such. Distraught at his low-key role in Baldur's Gate, and having lost his job at the Five Flagons thanks to the return of Haer'Dalis, Bill here tried to steal the soul of a Child of Bhaal and become all powerful!"
Irenicus/Bill: And I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you damn kids!

You've inspired me to go to the other end of the scale. I shall create an elf fighter/mage/thief to solo and I shall use Shadowkeeper to turn him into a chicken. He shall be the chicken-lord. I shall make him an evil character so I can get up to 'fowl' play (and I'll do it too)
