There was a post about wild magic and how to get it in the game without cheating. However now I can not find it. I wanted to try it out. If any one can point me in the direction of the thread or tell me how to do it then I would be happy. Thank You !

choose half-elf, and be a conjunor, when choosing magic, click on "choose for me" and BAH BAAAAM! you are there

What does it do though? I remember Wild Magic from 2nd edition, but this sounds somewhat different

I just tried it, and it doesn't work for me, I followed 250's instructions to a T. I am useing the patched UK version so there could be some differences.

No I got UK version too. Its not called "Wild Magic" its called
"Nahal's Reckless Dweomer" the icon for it is Multi-Coulered. I was a Male
Half-Elf with intelagence at 18. Wnet through all the steps and as soon as the magic slection came up I clicked on choose for me. I looked through my list and there it was. Try again I hope it works. It cool but weird.

did the same as you dave and no joy, still I made a male half-elf conjurer and had the computer choose my spells then I saved game and edited out coloured spray couse it sux and added Nahal's Reckless Dweomer. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif I cast invis with it and ended up revealing the whoel map http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif I also torched myself more than one...lol all good fun

AHHH! I figured out what the problem is. I too thought something was wrong with my copy of the game when it didn't work. Then I remembered: pick for me is random. So after you have the computer pick do not start the game, look over your list of spells and see if nahal's wreckless dweamoer is there. If it isn't, hit back and have the computer choose again. After four or five tries at the most it should pick it for you.
