I need some help here guys, i tried everything to steal that nifty defender+5 after Drizz't had a little 'accident' while fighting Bodhi.
I'm convinced that there must be a way to keep them (in singleplayer, no cheating).
Any help would be appreciated.

of course there is a way

dont use them, keep them in a safe, and melt the key, use the melting metal forge a necklace, always wear it!

lol, alright, to be honest, i think the harpel guy always follow you, and there arent anyway to avoid it... i THINK if you put them in a locker, and just before you go to last chaper, use them, and continue the game. the mage wont follow you there

yes, that is what i think would work... but you have to avoid rest and such

Nope. Afraid to say as long as they're on your person Malchor Harpell will never leave you alone. There are better weapons out there than Drizzt's scimitars, believe me.

I know there are better weapons, but its the only +5 scimitar in the game.

he will only come to you in certain places at certain time, like if you are in Athkatla, he will always on your tail, but if you are in for example (it is only example) underdark, he will not appear.

the problem is how to advance to hell. IF this mage dude only appears after you rest, then it is not much a big deal, just go to chapter 7 without rest. if he appears when ever you load an area, then you screwed. just use CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("destiny")
