Has anyone had Anomen leave the party...is there a way to get him back..he is going to avenge his sister...can I stop him and keep him in my party? Thanks...

Is he going because you told him to avenge her after talking to his father? Or is this later, after he hears about his father's murder by Saerk?

If the first, I don't know that you can stop it. If the later, follow him to Saerks' place (Bridge district) and talk to him. Is your pc in romance with him? If so, I know there are two possible outcomes of this quest/event. Say if you want more info- I won't spoil any more for now.

Ok fellas, he does have his uses.

He's a fairly good cleric and levels up reasonably quickly in my, admittedly limited, experience. Very good with dragonsbane (sling) etc. as well.

True....but I do believe Ladyzekke will also have a word or two regarding our beloved Anomen. But having him in my party was really a good test of my patience....... the game developers have really done a good job in creating this character.

P.S. we are not going to start another poll on how to torture our arrogant fighter/cleric again now, right?

I spent half my time rising him back from the dead. I parked him at the castle and thats where he will stay.

I h8 to have to say this but he pisses me off more than Xan from BG1, I put up with him for about 1 day then in the end I striped him of all his gear and polymorphed him into a squirel then chucked him out of my party.

Well, I'll just say again, that I have pretty good luck with him in my party. leveled to about 13 now I think and I'm in ch 2 still puttering about. Just finished Trademeet and heading back to pay thieves.

To be honest, the dialogue options never give too many option except something like "....if you have nothing to say, then shut up....." (or something like that)....then Anomen continues his babble (like what I am doing now)!! This might actually inspire me (or someone) to change the dialogue script....Hummmm

LOL! I figure every party has to have one grousing pain in the butt! My answers were all nicey-nice to the dialogs. When I said I talk back to him, it's when he starts some stupid comment out of nowhere or has little tiffs with Jan (Those are just HYSTERICAL!)

Mute, hahaha! I like that idea! Just today in a m/p game we were finished a battle inside the slaver compound and standing on a carpeted floor, Anomen starts kvetching about how we are "just standing around" watching the grass grow....GRASS?! LOL!
