Wow! Have any of you seen the counter? I remember looking at it around xmas and it was 700,000 or so.. We've topped a MILLION! Woohoo!

Hey all, we're going to be building a NEW server for the new forum (it needs it for speed and memory). so I'll keep you updated on the progress over the next few weeks. I'll re-import all the new messages the day we DO switch over too.

Zirok, all these "hits" basically say one thing: This board is great and appreciated by many many people from across the globe! You have allowed us all to discuss BGII and also get to know eachother a bit. And because of all our different time zones, this Board stays alive 24 hours a day! Thank you for creating it! I look forward to the new server/new board.

Moiraine, it wasn't a million messages (geez that WOULD be huge) but hits. I would guess that we have a total of 30,000 messages (some are missing that are still in the dir) and it’s totaling about 70mb now. I remember when the forum was around 5mb heheh.

Just wanted to thank you all for the kind words, this forum wouldn't be anything without you guys either. I'll always keep the forum in the best care I can, (after we boot this one especially) .

PS: I don't get paid for this (someone asked me), the only payment I get from the Ironworks website is the banner ads on the main support site, and that’s only when people click through . But it helps out.

I'll keep you updated on the server, and remember-- Survivor II today! Heheh

Thank you for all your time and energy. I don't use the board too often but when I do I always get help. I do, however, spend time just reading posts and following the threads. This forum is populated by many people who seem to care about everybody having a good time with the BG series and even about "life" in general.

You have created a "good thing!" Thank you!

P.S. I'm 48 and must be going through a second childhood with the BG series. It seems like everyone else is in teens or twenties...is this so?
