what do u guys think would be the best equipment for a berserker fighter to have? I'm talking about every single slot, weapons, armors, rings, etc..and assuming that there is access to every item in the game as well...thanx in advance

Cant find any good amulets for fighters.
With a Dex of 18 you should have a AC of -11, -13 when you get enraged.

Grandmaster in Katana, 3 slots in two weapon style dualwielding Celestial Fury
and a +2 Katana which gives you +1 AC and some spell bonus or the one you get in the spellhold.

Greenstone amulet would probably be the best go. Anyone else think it looks like a plate on the end of a chain?

You're right Armisael. In general I am not keen on many of the item pictures and especially the paper dolls. Why don't the doll's items bare any resemblance to their icon?

By the way Crom Fayre dual wielded with the celestial fury is awesome!

Yes, some of the BG2 items really need a rework when it comes to graphics.
Here's an easter egg for getting a greenstone amulet early on. Summon a mordekainen's sword and kill it. There'll be a greenstone amulet on its corpse. Actually, this may have been fixed in the patch, I'm not sure.

Can you confirm that the Dragon Scale works with the Ring +2 please.

As far as I know, rings/cloaks/amulets of protection do not worj with magical armour (with the exception of the most excellent Ring of Earth Control and Cloak of the Sewers).

All of my fighters are running around in plain old Full Plate, except for Minsc with Drow Plate +5 woohoo!

It works. The only time enchantments affect each other are when they're the same type of enchantment. The red dragon scale armour is just that - the ring has an enchantment on it.

I don't think the red dragon scale is considered as a magical armor, my character has it on with ring of protection +2.

Aha, just rememberd what I was thinking of. The Ankheg armour cannot be used with a Ring/Cloak/Amulet. I never bothered trying with any of the others.

I felt really stupid after having Ankheg armor made for 5000 gold and finding out I can only sell it same price as full plate Really what's the point of it?

Not much, especially considering full plate is plentiful and ankhegs are rare in BG2.

If I were you, I'd just create my own stuff!!! yesh, the artwork would still be bad though...

Anhkeg plate: good for Viconia or Aerie.

Yeah Anhkeg is very light weight. Armour of the Hart is good. (AC -2 I think.)
For a fighter try the amulet that reduces saving throws +2 or the one that increases magic resistance +15%.

Suul Yinn, I think the paper dolls in BG2 were REALLY disappointing. Even a femme mage looks unsexy. Worst part of a great game.
