Explanatory note:
Melusine and Wah, having just reached a hundred and fifty total posts, started a little mini-war to see who could post the fastest. Sensing an incoming disaster and being the nice person I am, I walked in with my eleven-hundred post bulk and stomped them into sad little red smudges (for the greater good). Then the board went down.

Are all the entries lost for good ? Or is it recoverable ?

With any luck, our resident miracle-worker Ziroc will come up with something. : )

Doubt if the posts would be. don;t know if Ziroc would bother with us moving to the UBB software soon.

I love your posts guys, I'm a Sydneysider myself, completed the game four times and have enjoyed reading the posts - though have found it annoying when voiceless. So...I'm finally back...yes I was just offline, not experiencing any guilt
As all of you know I'm relatively new on this board, and therefore I had no idea that the board could crash like that from Wah's and my posts.
So while I do apologise to everyone whose threads where lost, I did not do this on purpose (and 1. I hear the posts aren't lost at all but Ziroc somehow managed to save them and they are being transferred to the new board and 2. I lost a lot of threads myself too). Secondly as Wah pointed out I was clueless as to what had happened, and therefore think it pretty lame of Mandrake to shove all blame on me like that. As I recall, you were happily posting along when we held our little match. So if you all saw the crash coming then why didn't you warn us??? Btw my name is spelled M-E-L-U-S-I-N-E

Hey, take it easy. We're only joking around. The crash probably didn't even have anything to do with that thread, just UltraBoard showing its age. Besides, he actually shoved all the blame on me. : P

Dont take what I said seriously Melusine. I was jestering. I didnt know the board was going to crash anymore than anyone else did. Im also convinced it was nothing to do with you and Wah posting. If you have a look at the tone of the initial post I figured the fact that I was joking was coming across pretty strongly!

I must admit that a few days ago I was responisible in some manner. I started about 20 topics and wrote about 30 posts because I had and still have Conjenctivitus or Pink Eye and have to stay home. Also I um.. Cast haste on Melusine and Slow on Holy Mage Wah. Don't worry Melusine I don't blame you the only thing is that I am mad that all of my 20 topics got deleted!

I think Ziroc managed to save all the posts that were lost Jon.

What's a few lost posts amongst friends? There is still enough to stake out a homestead in the Outback! The new board looks good, lets hope it's more stable. Rikard you are a wonder, if your ever in Scotland drops us a line and I will crack open a bottle of cask strength malt. Mandrake you are also invited since you fancy a nip by all accounts lol. Melusine in answer to one of your lost posts, yes I love Scotland too. If you need any info re Scottish Universities etc all you need to do is ask. By the way I visited Holland years ago and I really enjoyed myself. Friendly people, good beer and grass is legal Favourite place though is Barcelona, an amazing city with something for everybody. Good Uni too.
