Everyone please write what your favorite thing in this game is to do.
Mine is
1) Go around with Viciona and Amnoen with turn undead on. First I take over the Undead and then watch them blow up! Heheheheheheehe

Suul-Yinn 11-24-2000 12:54 AM

Lower resistance on an iron golem and then dominate him after the clay golems haste him. Next make mud patties...

Jerome2k 11-24-2000 02:37 PM

send my familiar rabbit against adamnanite golems

Rikard 11-24-2000 02:39 PM

actually not killing Neeber
Very special

Jerome2k 11-24-2000 02:45 PM

Dominating Peasants then getting them into a huge fight

Jerome2k 11-24-2000 02:46 PM

or gateing a pit-fiend into that pile of chickens in Umar Hills....

Morninglord 11-24-2000 02:59 PM

To strip Jaheira down to her very fists and skin, and then cast a spider spawn and attack her with the spiders and watch as she pityfully tried to defend herself with Magical Stone and Ensnare and her mere fists

/Morninglord of Sweden

Archmagi Wah 11-24-2000 03:00 PM

For you jaheria haters try casting a spider spawn inside her cage and let her struggle, similar with Minsc.

For a real laugh then dominate or charm Minister Lloyd in the Umar Hills and get him to attack his OWN WIFE!! Or charm then both and watch a husband and wife beat the daylight out of each other.

heh, heh...........

Morninglord 11-24-2000 03:02 PM

Hey Archmagi! Are you my mind's brother, or did you just read what I wrote?

/Morninglord of Sweden

Archmagi Wah 11-24-2000 03:09 PM

Nope morninglord, I never like her much anyway. In fact I loved it so many times it was worth saving and doing the same thing with monster summoning 1, 2 and 3. (ogre berserkers are a real hit!!)

Ever tried Gate?...........................

Morninglord 11-24-2000 03:12 PM

Hmmm never did try gate, perhaps a Fire Elemental should do the trick aswell?

Anyhow, now I think you should go to my thread "Spellhold dungeons" and answer my questions therein =)

/Morninglord of Sweden

Archmagi Wah 11-24-2000 03:31 PM

I just did. Sorry if that isn't much.

Oh yeah, the gate pit fiend took her out with one fireball, (minsc had to feel it too)

LOL

Jon Irenicus 11-24-2000 04:10 PM

I have a new method of torture. First I kill someone then I raise them from the dead and so on...... It is so much fun!

Archmagi Wah 11-24-2000 04:15 PM

Can you raise someone other than your own party members? Thanks Irenicus I'm gonna remember to try that one.

Jon Irenicus 11-24-2000 04:19 PM

well the manual says "you can raise humans halflings and some other." the only problam is that it hardly ever works.

Jon Irenicus 11-24-2000 04:19 PM

well the manual says "you can raise humans halflings and some others." that means you aren't restricted to your own party

Archmagi Wah 11-24-2000 06:04 PM

Hmmmm, so I guess I should start killing everyboday and casting raise dead to see what happens. I'd always hated that B*()*! of a bartender in The Den of the seven vales so I guess I'll start with her!!

I hope you like abi-dalzims patricia.............

Armisael 11-24-2000 11:57 PM

Dammit, Jaheira's one of the best NPCs in the game!

Jon Irenicus 11-25-2000 12:18 AM

the only thing is she never shuts up.

Memnoch 11-25-2000 05:30 AM

Now now boys, let's be nice to Jahiera, she looks a lot sexier now plus she doesn't nag as much. And two words. Creeping Doom.

Armisael 11-25-2000 05:42 AM

'zactly. I still don't understand why so many people hate her. Damn useful, and nowhere near as annoying as everyone makes her out to be.

Hawk 11-25-2000 01:07 PM

I find that Jaheira is annoying. While i was in the Underdark, she had a rant at my character's lover (Aerie), and then got petrified by a beholder. We were Drow by this time. After Aerie cast stone to flesh, she complained, and left for the Harper Hold. When we eventually got out the Underdark, i got her back, but she had another complaint, saying how could i cast her aside. I had a right mind to leave her there, but she is a damn good charcter. Shame i had to kill that Silver Dragon without her.

Armisael 11-25-2000 08:39 PM

She never complains that much for me. Worst thing she ever said was "You mustn't let yourself get so wounded, Aerie." I always have to reload if someone gets petrified; it causes an annoying bug on my game, where I get stuck in an endless loop about them leaving the party. I've never dropped Jaheira from the party, either, so I don't know what she says about it. : P

[twisti] 11-26-2000 12:19 AM

I always hate these self-righteous harpers, so I ditched Jaheira as soon as I freed her (I mean, as soon as I left the dungeon. Opening a Cell and let her go for all the evil alone is not what I'd consider 'freeing'). After all, she is an old mate and stuff, so I weren't to let her down in Irenicus dungeon. But these harper folks makes me feel sick. I hope Jaheira is happy with them. After all, she lost her mate and has the right to be a non-stop-complaining-machine. But please, dear, please annoy someone else, yes ? Thank you. Goodby.

To get back on thread, the funniest thing I accomplished was hitting the black dragon with the Staff Of Wonders (after lowering his saves/resistance with some spell stuff). The Staff Of Wonders sometimes does boring things, but this was a charge that really gave me a laugh: Mr. Evil Black Dragon turned into a Squirrel !

After that, I summoned some monsters, and let a wild dog finish him off. After that, I hit space and called my friend to bragg about how easily I defeated the last dragon. I had to reload, because the squirrel hadn't any loot, but it was worth it.

ps.: After the reload my Monk killed him with one hit of quivering palms. Lucky day, I guess. But I'd liked it better if they had used the handbook for quivering palms, a Black Dragon is not exactly what I'd call 'human-sized'.

Armisael 11-26-2000 12:51 AM

Jaheira leaves the harpers to continue following you somewhere along the storyline. After that, you get attacked by several Harpers for treason, until eventually... well, I won't spoil it for you. Good incentive to put Jaheira in your party.

Every time I use the wand of wonders I end up worse off than I was beforehand, so I sell it as quickly as is humanly possible. And it is a bit strange that the monk can use quivering palm on a dragon. It's supposed to cause some sort of vibrations in whatever it hits, which can then cause instant death, yes? At any rate, I'm certain it wasn't supposed to work on anything as big as a dragon.

BaatoRyan 11-26-2000 02:02 AM

Havent you guys heard of those pressure points or somethin? The monk knows those points and thus can kill with a single blow. It doesn't mean that you cant apply it to dragons coz they have their own points... on which the monk knows? I like Jaheira, and I don't. Since I have Viconia, well... you get the picture. I trying this single multipayer game, and I have an archer by my side! Its coo, but I have again this overabundance of party members! Hey, www.teambg.com is acting weird...

Armisael 11-26-2000 02:16 AM

You'd need a pretty bloody tall monk to hit a dragon's pressure point.

[twisti] 11-26-2000 10:51 AM

In the first edition, quivering palms was restricted to on time per week, and targets who ain't immune to crit. hits (like golems and other constructs)and don't have mor hit dices then the level of the monk.

In the second edition, this was further restricted to human-sized enemys.

Eigther way, it shouldn't work on a dragon. Well, perhaps on the little fairy dragon your mage plays around with

Jon Irenicus 11-26-2000 06:06 PM

what happens if you give the real eggs to phare in the underdark? Is it as much fun as giving her the fake eggs and watching her get killed?

Jon Irenicus 11-26-2000 06:22 PM

Hello I just learnt how to do this so i am testing it out.

BaatoRyan 11-26-2000 06:42 PM

Speaking of fun, heres fun... go to the underdark, blow your cover, cheat on your lover, AND BLOW THE PLACE TO BITS WHILE VICONIA SAYS BYE BYE!!!

Darkwind 11-26-2000 10:37 PM

Jaheira owns!

I like women who give me lip.

-Darkwind

Mandrake 11-27-2000 04:20 AM

Hey I like women who give me head, but thats just me!

Memnoch 11-27-2000 05:24 AM

Actually you can do it on a dragon in BG2. A guy did it about 2 months ago and posted the screenshots. Pretty funny, I wonder how many reloads he did before he actually managed it.

Armisael 11-27-2000 06:28 AM

Oi, this is a kiddie's board. Swearing a blue streak's fine (er, to a certain degree) but I don't like the idea of a little kid tugging on his mum's skirt, asking what 'giving head' is, then telling her that a guy called Armisael on the internet said it. Let them find out the hard way, no pun intended.

Mandrake 11-27-2000 04:22 PM

If they were in Tasmania mummy would show him!
Ok ok! Ill behave!

robertthebard 11-27-2000 05:31 PM

Letting Minsc talk to the Pirate Lord in Brynnlaw, when I'm getting sent to the Asylum, "Where's your peg?"

Jon Irenicus 11-27-2000 06:18 PM

hehehe that also is one of my favorite momentes

[twisti] 11-27-2000 08:25 PM

Memnoch: Actually, I did it to the black dragon, too, and it worked in the first try (after doom, greater mallison and stuff was cast on the dragon).

Jon Irenicus 11-28-2000 04:38 PM

memmonch how many times do you change your signiture? IT KEEPS CHANGING!
