If u download the 'Happy Group Scripts' from Baldurdash Then no NPCs will leave ur party due to rep, so u can have any u want no matter what their allignment is...
assuming u do use this patch the best party IMO is: Note: This Information Contains Spoilers: . . . . . . . You-Edwin-Yoshimo(replace with Imoen when u get to spell hold)-Keldorn-Jaheira-Anomen. You may also want Jan, Viconia, or Cernd in there, but never use Aerie- her HPs are too low for her ablilities to be of use, or KOrgan because if u dont find the book in time, u have to pay him to rejoin u, this is also if u dump him. BUt ofcourse remember that a good party is not one which is strong, but one which you are happy playing with. This information is from my point of view, and is a recomendation- not an order. |

I think Arathor meant good or neutral aligned party.
I have just finished with a good party so here was the line up: PC Necromancer (Neutral Good), Minsc, Mazzy, Imoen (after Yoshimo), Valygar, Jaheira, Admittedly this is very tank heavy. If your PC is not a mage then I would consider swapping Jaheira for Aerie or Nalia. They have better spells than she does and three tanks is enough for any party... trust me... |
Edwin????? Yoshimo???? You've got two neutrals and an evil!!! I thought that this was supposed to be a GOOD party. Pah. If it's going to be good, why Jahiera?? IMHO, best good party: You, Keldorn, Minsc,Valygar(yuck),Aerie(sorry, I don't like her lack of HP ,either, but this is the Good romance),Nalia. Kick Valygar out after you get Imoen back. Not my party, but this is theory.

SPOILER
. . . . . . Yourself Valygar Keldorn Jaheira Yoshimo --> Imoen Anomen Strong in tanking, weak in magic unless you're a spellcaster. For more spells take Jan instead of Keldorn/Anomen. If you don't use katanas, Valygar is a must. |
Yes, Galadria, he did say a good/neutral party, so Yoshimo and Jahiera are permissible

This is an ok party:
see ya! |
Minsc (Keldorn)
Nalia (Imoen) Jan Anomen Aerie (Jaheira) |
thanks guys, this helps.

The patch from Baldurdash make sit so that allignment doesnt matter, and most of the NPC conflicts that end in one of them leaving are solved...
and u NEED a good mage- ie. edwin (hes the only single class mage) and so if ur PC isnt a mage(or soreceror or whatever), Edwin is a nescesity. And for INfo on finding the book of Kaza for Korgan- try this |
Radiant,
I have found Korgan with his GrandMastery in Axes to be sweeeeeet so you will want to get the book. Spoiler. * * * * ** * ** ** * You have to go into the dungeon where you would go to Bodhi and when you are down there (start in the East) you must go to the middle where the big bump is and then South and you will have some undead or something and eventually you will run in to a Lich. After that you will know where to go. |

Origally posted by SookmaCook: edwin (hes the only single class mage)

Man, this is getting repetative... In a game with over 3 MILLION XP, a mage with a measly 5000 XP as a thief is hardly being held back or limited by being technically a dual-class theif/mage. In my mind, Nalia is a single class mage that minored in thievery at Mage School. I'll trade those 5000 XP for her ability to wield a short bow any day of the week!!! Jeeeez. |
