this is the third time through chapter 2 and i cannot get Jaheiras curse to go away even after i rest and have her hair, anybody know why. it worked the other times.
Try resting a few times. I rested twice in an inn to make it go away.
Yeah, 8 hours is not a full day, and she mentioned needing a full day.
Also, I found on my game the curse wouldn't lift unless I put the hair in Jaheira's inventory.
This is only my first time playing through, but I put the hair in her inventory, and rested twice at the copper coronet, and the curse lifted without any problems.
I never had any probs with the curse.Everyone has problems with
all kinds of stuff |
Heh, I got lucky on this one. Jaheira had been called away by the Harper's and Nalia had been kidnapped. I went into the inn to get the document that would ruin Nalia's fiancee's rep. While I knocked off the guy for the document I decided to take out Lord what's his name just to play it safe, since some characters wait before attacking. I found Jaheira's hair on his body, so I never had to worry about her being cursed.
I got 6000 exp., for taking the guy out, what was the xp total for killing him the right way ? |
let her die she is a waste of flesh
Jaheira's bloody good. Easily kicks the shit out of Anomen.
Are you crazy ? Anomen is a damn tank running around kicking butt's while taking several beating. He could deal with Jaheira without weapons, armor and with closed eyes.
I suppose closing his eyes wouldn't make any difference, since he never hits anything anyway.
Har har, touché. But I really think he is a hell of a good fighter with remarkeable casting abilitys. Really, I wouldn't trade him for Jaheira.
Anyways, I hate the fact so many quests are bound to you have special party members. While it looks like a brilliant idea in the first place, I'd love to single-multi with an entire party of my own. But that would leave with so damn less quests ... |
It can be annoying, but it also makes sense. I mean it's all very well to go around freelancing with a party made entirely by yourself, but it goes without saying that having characters with backgrounds is going to give you more options in the game. Maybe in a future Baldur's Gate they'll include pre-made backgrounds that you can slap on a custom made NPC, and off you go, quests and all.
