Hiya Cloudworks. Nice place you've got here! I was a dedicated PlanetBaldursGate forumite until I finally just got too burned-out on it a few months ago. But Wiz 8 has re-sparked my interset in rpg'ing, and in foruming. It's good to be posting again!

Yes, all our new members who have come into IW through Wizardry 8, please do meander over to General Discussions, at the very least, and post a "Hi and Hello" there and introduce yourself to the rest of Ironworks. We're a thriving community here, over 5000 members strong, and there's a load of other forums and other games that are covered here as well.

Thanks for the welcome Cloudbringer.
This is only the 2nd forum I have ever been been a part of. The other was for a rogue type game called Zangband. I downloaded a graphical version of the game called ZangbandTK. The game was very simplistic in its graphics but the gameplay was was spot on. The option of IronMan mode in Wiz 8 was the only option in all the rogue type games. Very scarey at times :)
The forum for Zangband was very much like this one. Tolerant of newbies and always willing to help. And also one that I would be comfortable with my 11 year old daughter looking at.
Unfortunately the ZangbandTK site is no more......I never did get a reply from the home page as why........
Thanks to all of you out there that have replied to my earlier posts. I am REALLY looking forward to posting when I get Wiz8....and I am trying to take as much advice as I can digest from all the postings so far.

Although it is primarily Wizardry 8 that brought me here, I am very much looking foward to becoming a member of the community [img]smile.gif[/img] After reading all the very cool, very informative posts, it would be hard not to want to join in a make some friends.
