I can't be bothered with Lost anymore. I was hooked after the first few episodes, but the story rapidly degenerated after that leaving a tv show that didn't know what it wanted to be. The "next episode..." previews at the end of each episode didn't help much. Reminded me of a mate that owes me money. "Next week, i'll have it for you. Next week, next week" etc. And then never delivers. How stupid do they think their viewers are? Curiously enough, they did the same thing for Alias over and over. But it was Jennifer Garner that spoiled that one for me.

But who knows LOL, maybe at some point we will catch up with eachother if they rerun and skip weeks and weeks like they did here in the US last season!

I'm still kinda hooked, but I find the show really frustrating.

Example 1: half way through Series 1, Michael, Locke and a couple of others get attacked by the giant polar bear. Do the mention it to the other survivors? No! Does it even get mentioned by a single character in any subsequent episode? No! Is it seen again? No!

Example 2: final episode of Series 1, Locke gets attacked by something, which tries to drag him into a pit. He gets a real close look at it, and so does Jack. We hear a mechanical noise. But we, the viewers, are still totally in the dark about what 'it' was, even though the characters looked it right in the face. That's just unfair on the viewer. How come Kate doesn't say 'what was that thing?', or 'did you see it?'. It doesn't get another mention, despite being something obviously so key to the viewer understanding the island.

Come on! Play fair with the viewer!

Sorry I have not had a peek at your posts. I missed the first show. I was at a punk rock show the night it came on. The wife seen it and said it was good. But she told me last night. That they are going to replay the first show again this wednesday. Then have the new one after that. So look forward to talking about the show. I am pumped to see what happens this season. ;)

So any thoughts on the new episodes? Do you think that guy in the hatch is alone down there? Does he have to reset those numbers ever 108 minutes? Imagine that would be a bit maddening over time. Do you think Hurley is "the Man" he's been waiting for cause of the polar bear question?

Man that first episode was FULL of numbers. Did you see the 108 on the wall. Add up all the numbers you get 108. Also his medication has the numbers on it as well.

I like the fact the show keeps you going. To many answers would be bad. But I still feel your pain. I kinda thought when Hurley told Jack about the numbers. He would have took it more seriously.

Another good episode! Poor Locke, they seemed to want to really emphasized how bad he had been betrayed again, even though we already knew, and they didn't show anything different, just more of the same re the Dad's rejection.

A thought: Am suspicious of this girlfriend of Locke's, wonder if she was paid by the Dad to get Locke off his back, and property.

Am thinking the people who have trapped Sawyer et al in the dirt cage might be people from the back end of the plane, not "natives," despite the one shakka zulu black guy LOL. Could be wrong though, we'll see LOL. :D

Had to wait till 11:35 to watch it because of the Sox game but it was worth the wait. There were a lot of implausibles in this ep (Desmond, the button, the 80s furniture, Hanso Foundation, the whole world under the hatch thing) but it all leaves you begging for more eh. So many questions!!!!

Well not alot with the show last night. Little more background on Hurley. Which was all right. Amazing how this show gives you so little some times but makes you want to come back.

So the people that camptured Michael are the tail section people. But there was a flash of the blonde lady with that flash light. There still is more to that other group. I have not searched to much around the lost boards yet to get any more info. ;)

Yeah and when Jin said that TDC he said it pretty fluently re English, it seemed to easily roll off his tongue in other words. So I still wonder if he has know how to speak English all along as well as Sun did. It kinda makes sense cause if he (Jin) is to remain a main character, he should get a speaking part at some point LOL. I know me, as a viewer, would prefer it to the reading subtexts!

So it was all just a dream. Also the Actor who plays Jin had to learn Korean to play that part.

Also apparentely its been confirmed that it is FEMALE character that is going to die in Episode 6..... A Shannon centric episode acording to a TV guide website. Take that with what you will.

Well I reckon Shannon could be an expendable character now that her brother is dead, so that storyline is gone. Of course she does have potential as a Sayid love interest, but let's face it, they were kinda ridiculous and boring as a couple LOL. Sooo.

But who knows! Maybe it will be Claire LOL! She didn't have much storyline either other than her baby storyline, and her possible love interest with Charlie (who, in real life, is dating the lady who plays Kate). So she could be expendable to develop a Kate/Charlie love connection ROTFL..

I heard on some show the other day that now there is a LOST drinking game LOL, i.e, when Hurley says "dude" you drink, when.... you get the idea LOL. Crazy. :D

Good show last night. Makes sense about the picture and the teddy bear. The teddy bear kid is now a other.

But the big question. What is the others. This is really starting to make me think. Next week looks crazy. As soon as the other group of survivors show up. Everyone starts to get captured by the others. I mean they have been there all this time with now troubles. Where is the french lady? Is she hiding back in her hut?

She said "Did you see the kids". So its confirmed that they are definatly taking the kids.

Also was it just me or when you saw the legs walk by in Ep 5 it kinda looked weird when they walked. Like in the Matrix when there is a glitch. Maybe it was just my Tv but it looked strange the way they walked.

The only thing that kinda reminds me off what is going on is the book by TAD Wlliams. With the otherland series. They also took kids. But I never did finish the last book to see what was behind it. ;)
