Ok I am trying to make a CD of Anti-Love music, basically songs that take the average love songs and sing about the complete opposite. I am already considering
"I'm not in love" - 10CC
"...Not Forever" - Tsunami Bomb
"Love Hurts" - Nazareth
As well as a few Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds songs.
I am generally after songs that I can hear most of the lyrics and am avoiding crap like Eminem and Dr Dre etc.

Tainted Love was written by Ed Cobb (of the Four Preps) for soulsinger Gloria Jones, and she had a minor hit with it back in the sixties (!). Ergo, Soft Cell's version is a cover version just the same. ;)
