Cartoons you like to sit down and watch from time to time. Mine are

Spongebob Square Pants. (You'll be surprised how many people like this show.)

Kids Next Door (Whenever I watch this it makes me want to be ten years again.)

Ahh and thats it. What about you?

Nanobyte 10-21-2003 09:02 PM

Samurai Jack, Family Guy, and Futurama. Everything else is tolerable

Azred 10-22-2003 01:53 AM

Definitely Samurai Jack.

The original series of Ren & Stimpy... The new Ren & Stimpy on Spike TV...

These two are older and not currently in syndication...Ralph Bakshi's rendition of Mighty Mouse and Beetlejuice.

Oh! I almost forgot about The Tick.

The Simpson
Tom and Jerry
Two Stupid Dog
Mr.Bean
Justice League

Link 10-22-2003 04:35 AM

I like the Simpsons and Futurama a lot. I also thought Yu-gi-oh was pretty decent but it began to boring a while ago...

OB1 Kenobi 10-22-2003 09:17 AM

These days I like Justice League, X-Men Evolution, Batman of the Future. When I was a kid I loved Transformers (the original not the rubbish that there making now), Thundercats, Dino Riders, Bravestar, He-Man.

Link 10-22-2003 09:55 AM

Forgot Thundercats! Thanks for the reminder, OB1 WAN! I used to be a very big fan of the series, owning the toy sword, and action figures! Go Liono!

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I really wish Fox would release all the animated episodes of The Tick on DVD. They did just release the entire run of the live action version of The Tick. Need to pick that up this weekend

THE SIMPSONS!!!!!!

GForce 10-23-2003 01:51 AM

DOH! DOH! DOH! The Simpsons of course. I like the older ones. My favorite episode was the one where Bart falls for his babysitter. It was well written and touched upon growing up as a little boy.

I also have a DVD of "Sword in the Stone". Has this one scene where Wart is experiencing life as a squirrel. It's so cute where this female squirrel tries to win his heart. Ahhh. Puppy love.

Faceman 10-23-2003 06:09 AM

The Simpsons of course but also
South Park
Family Guy
Freakazoid
Droopy
and I LOVE to download old cartoons from WWII and watch them (Blitz Wolf,...)

GokuZool 10-25-2003 08:16 AM

The Simpsons.

Although it's been repeated to death, every episode is filled with classic moments.

-----

Blind Man Willie Witherspoon: I've been playing the saxaphone for 30 years. I want you to have it.
Bleedin' Gums Murphy: This isn't a saxaphone. It's an umbrella.
Blind Man Willie Witherspoon: So I've been playing the umbrella for 30 years? Why didn't anyone ever tell me?
Bleedin' Gums Murphy: Cause we all though it was funny.
Blind Man Willie Witherspoon: That's not funny.

Cop: Did you hold a grudge against Montgomery Burns?
Moe: No.
[buzz]
Moe: All right, I did. But I didn't shoot him.
[ding]
Cop: Checks out. All right, sir. You're free to go.
Moe: Good, 'cause I got a hot date tonight.
[buzz]
Moe: A date.
[buzz]
Moe: Dinner with friends.
[buzz]
Moe: Dinner alone.
[buzz]
Moe: Watching TV alone.
[buzz]
Moe: All right! I'm going to sit at home and ogle the ladies in the Victoria's Secret catalog.
[buzz]
Moe: Sears catalog.
[ding]
Moe: Now will you unhook me already? I don't deserve this shabby treatment!

I've got the favorites that most people also share, such as Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Futurama but let me give a flash from the past.

How about
George of the Jungle (w/Tom Slick, also starring SuperChicken)
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Felix the Cat (the originals from the 60's)

Deejax 10-31-2003 07:48 AM
