I thought that I read here on IW from somebody that they would not release the DVDs until all three movies had been shown, the last being in December of 2004, and then the April after that (2005) they would be sold together as a box set.

I do not know the origin of that rumor...but it is a horrible thought.</font>

If they are looking for money like most movie co. They will release them one at a time then release them again in the boxed set as a collecters item or add something like new scenes so they can sell them again.

I went to their website, and cannot find any information on this.

If they're smart they'll release the first DVD just before the second movie debuts. It will start the hype up once again and make people really remember why they have to see the second one.

Just my 2.

Blockbuster movies are produced with the aftermarket in mind, which is actually where they make the most money. You can bet your sweet bippy that the DVD will be released before the next film comes out.

I agree Lemernis. Hopefully the same thing applies to Starwars: Episode 1 DVD/Vhs.

They better release it before summer or someone is gettin a whoopin with a spoon
