What character do you think most represents you? Try to make it from a well-known book, so peeps will know the character. I would say I am a lot like Eowen from LOTR or Tai from Skies of Pern.

Well. I reckon I'm a bit like Bilbo Baggins. I like my home comforts - but when I'm pushed I'm as good at sticking my neck out as he was, lol!

Elminster? LOL I guess I am like Halaster Blackcloak. A little bit of insanity never hurt anyone. I usually play my mages (PnP) a little bit on the crazy side. Absolute power corrupts absolutly!

Kinslayer 07-13-2001 04:12 AM

Mine's got to be Danilo Thann from the Harper books. Like him, I appear to be of little use and as shallow as a puddle. However, once you get to know me there is a little more than meets the eye(not much though!).

Davros 07-13-2001 05:55 AM

Hmmm, when in love, I would say Lelldorin (what is this thing called rational thought), but usually, let's see, Gnimsh perhaps...., no, too ummmm, too focussed that's it, ahh, I know, Fizban - heart in the right place, loses his hat when it's on his head, knows much, but seldom let's on that he does.

All depends on my mood i guess.
Sometimes i feel like Soltan Gris.
Other times like Erekose.
Sometimes like Marlowe and sometimes like Kilgore Trout.
Then I think it's actually those characters who
seem like me...yeah.

despite the difference in age I would say Germanicus Agricola from Procurator written by the maybe not so well known Kirk Mitchell fits my personality best

Balgin 07-18-2001 10:26 AM

You lot are going to love this but I kid you not. I try to live my life by a mixture of the medieval code of knightly conduct (chivalry), the life ethics of the viking folk (not just the raiders, they invented sueing, litigation, most of the British legal system), a personal gentlemanly code of personal ethics and my sense of humour. I try not to liken myself to characters that others have made because I like them the way they are and wouldn't want to spoil them for anyone (especially me). However, if pushed to chose I'd have to think for a long time, you see there are characters that are like me and characters that I would like to be like.

Alright but don't laugh. I noticed that i'm a lot like CattieBrie. I mean personality wise. If I were in some of her situations i'd end up saying the same exact thing she would. Just without the dwarven accent.

I kinda wish I could say I'm like Raistlin 'cause he's my all-time favorite character from a story, but he really is an ass and I wouldn't want to be like him.

I guess you could say I'm a lot like Tanis 'cause it always seems I have to take control even though I don't want to. Hey, he ended up with Laurana - pretty good deal!

Gimli the dwarf in LOTR. Close in friendship, open in mind, but closely aware of insult. A realist.

Can't really think of any fantasy character, they're always larger than life and not too complex - I like to think I'm at least a little more complex than most of them http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif
But personality wise a cleric type character would be pretty accurate, specifically someone who gives others advice and who is asked for advice by many, because I have found that for some reason a lot of people think I can help them with their problems, which of course I can't but keep trying to anyway because helping/caring seems to be an inextricable part of my nature.
Other than that think bookish characters who like to get their teeth into a problem and keep at it until they solve it...Brown Ajah sounds pretty accurate Moiraine...also think scribe/artistic characters
