(The toolset looks MUCH harder, but we'll learn it)
(Each have dupes, but I think some of these sites has unique shots) http://nwn-yugra.r86.net/NWN2/ http://www.garinham.com/images/ http://garinham.com/images/10-27/ http://nwn2files.free.fr/images/ Enjoy! The IW NWN2 site is in the works, and we'll have all the latest on this awesome sequel! |
Some great shots in there, and some of the exterior shots are amazing.
|
They're great... :D

Quite beautiful. Thanks for bringing that to us, Ziroc. This will be the first game I will have bought since the original NWN.
While we're talking about it...Am I to assume correctly that there is no joining of NWN to NWN.2 in any manner? No conversions or anything? Like as if this game had nothing to do with the original at all? In other words...what then will become of Undermountain ? Certainly you do not want to rebuild Undermountain to suit this. Will there be no manner of converting Undermountain into NWN.2 ? If not, then what amazing game will be built and considered the IW official? [ 10-29-2005, 10:20 PM: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ] |
Actually, they say you CAN import your old into the new! (awesome) but I would change most everything to updated looks, and add new stuff, but sounds cool! the scripts and stuff are the same, they mainly gutted the graphics engine and made a new one. Cool stuff!
|
Now that is good news. I am glad to hear that the original can be incorporated into the new system.
|
Is that really the same engine??
I heard it was. If so...amazing. In any case it's amazing. |

anyway, it look awsome!! |
Same engine, updated like the way Infinity was for Icewind dale 2 compared to Baldurs gate 1. My main reasons for not getting it are that I think the engine is obsolete although the graphical update is nice.
|
So when exactly is NWN2 expected to be released?
|
I'd guess June/July 2006. Not that far off really..
|
Wow! It's gonna be amazing!

Lovely eye-candy, but I do hope that there will be better variety and written roleplaying encounters than what was in the first game.
|
more!

NWN 2 Looks great but, does anyone know when Dragonage is coming? Thanks anyway...
|
man those are gorgeous better go change my keks ;)
|
Wow, those are lovely. Amazon is saying mid-June and they are usually not that far off. I can't wait!!!
|
Come on with it...Can't wait.
|
Most impressive!
Thanks for bumping the thread back up Attalus. Even though it may not have been intentional. It still comes down to game play and story for me anyway. Don't get sucked in by fancy graphics! I think the most impressive graphics I have seen are in Wizardry 8. In the downstars of the Monestary there is marble floor, which is so smooth it reflects the walls. |
Hey banzai,
Can you translate what it says at the bottom of this one? My German's not what it used to be. Something about when bad people do something.. Neverwinter_Nights2_26.jpg |
Ok, ok, here I am to the rescue !!!
This will translate into something like: * EPIC STORY ! When the forces of evil descend on peaceful swamp villages important things are on their way. * Meaningful, isnt´it ;) ??? |

Just FYI
There´s a short NWN 2 trailer out on the web. There are quite some different sources to download from. Just do a search for *Neverwinter Nights 2 trailer* to find them. Not that great a trailer in my opinion but at least the *screenshots* are moving ... |
Does anyone know what the system requirements for NWN2 will be like? Seems like it's gonna be way more graphic intensive than NWN1...
