Hey all, i know this has been done somewhere before, but the search is having trouble telling me where, so here goes. How do i give my PC wings in the single-player SoU campaign? i have both SoU and HotU, i also have Leto an d have disabled the legal characters only thing on my game... i just cant figure out how to give my paladin wings. i know its just cosmetics, but i like the look.

Thanks guys.

EDIT: as an aside, is it posible to make a new PC race that i can chose? i would want it to be identicle to the elf race, with the same bonuses ect... just to have wings.

YOu can also use the CODI Character Creater to give yourself wings. Leto should also be able to do it for you.

Its been a while but I know Leto can definatly give you wings under one of the options.

EDIT: Scratch that. Leto can't do it (or at least mine can't) YOu can use the PRC Character Creator (or CODI Character Creator) to do the wings. Search the vault for it.

You sound a suspicious lot like Aerie. ;) Be careful, a gruesome fate awaits most of her fanboys at IW.

White Lancer 10-01-2005 07:32 AM

Ugh, aerie is the devil! This is purely out of curiosity. i want to see what a winged elf looks like with wings and full-plate.

White Lancer 10-01-2005 08:27 AM

Bah what a let-down. Those wings are annoying when you are running... look great while standing still, but still...

Oh well, another thing i know how to do.

robertthebard 10-01-2005 08:29 AM

Take a lvl of sorc, set your lore to at least 8, and take RDD for 9 lvls, presto, wings...

White Lancer 10-01-2005 11:25 PM

Or, use leto's advanced editor and add them to any character at any level!

Sever 10-02-2005 06:48 AM

Just a quickie about RDDs. If i change my sorc to a disciple, can i still level as a sorc and recieve more arcane spells on level up? Or am i stuck with the spells i've learned already? (plus the RDD spells of course)

robertthebard 10-02-2005 07:08 AM

RDD doesn't gain spells, but you can continue with Sorc at any time you wish. 10 lvls of RDD give great stat bonuses, and you'll have the wings at lvl 9.

This is true.

Not to mention the immunities to just about everything. And the breath weapon

robertthebard 10-03-2005 09:37 AM

Actually you just become immune to fire, but there is that breath weapon...

White Lancer 10-04-2005 05:57 AM

My manual and in-game description lists 4 things, one is fire, one is paralysis and i cant remember the other two. trust me, you get 4 immunities.

And just to continue using this topic, rather than creating another one...
I'm in the dessert section of SoU, trying to figure out this puzzle in the tomb (the one with the 4x4 grid and the stones) i have a slight problem, that being that i only have 7 stones... im pretty sure i will need 8. ive looked on the forums and they've confirmed that i need to make an X shape. i cant do that with 7 stones. how do i get another one?

EDIT: my bad, there are only 3 immunities you get, fire, paralysis and sleep all of them at RDD level 10

>You don't. Just have your character himself stand on the last spot to complete the X shape.

White Lancer 10-04-2005 06:31 AM

Came back to say i'd figured it out, only to find the answer was already here. Thanks for answering so swiftly J'aran.

robertthebard 10-04-2005 10:20 AM

I always used my henchmen for that.

Mozenwrathe 10-05-2005 09:16 AM

Here is a question for you:

which wings did you add?

I might try running through a game which the original campaign using a dark angel concept character. meaning of course, I would have to get black feather wings. now, my question is even with LETO (which I possess) and the PRC Character Creator (which hates me but I still possess), is it possible to have a character with wings inside of the original campaign?

robertthebard 10-05-2005 11:50 AM

Yes, once the files are in place, they will work in any of the modules.

White Lancer 10-06-2005 05:03 AM

Leto lists:
</font>
 • None</font>
 • Demon</font>
 • Angel</font>
 • Bat</font>
 • Dragon, red</font>
 • Butterfly</font>
 • Bird</font>
I used the angel wings. they are white feathered wings that flap when you run, looks completely ridiculous while running.

robertthebard 10-06-2005 10:36 AM

The Dragon wings do the same thing. I think it's an animation to look like wind blowing through them.

SpiritWarrior 10-06-2005 02:01 PM

When in practice it looks like your char is still wearing the foam wings from last nights fancy-dress party. I hated that too .

I'm not sure about the RDD wings, but the angel wings sure dont look like there is wind going through them to me... looks like they're flapping. If you could fly with them, it'd be great, but since you cant, why flap them at all? They look pretty good while you arent moving anywhere, or when you 're walking, but once that flapping starts, its all over. None of my characters will be wearing wings TYVM! (unless i can get some that dont flap :D )

White Lancer 10-07-2005 06:02 AM

I see your point, name changed.

robertthebard 10-07-2005 11:46 AM

OK, now that's funny...
