I gave Ordulinian (in Sorcerous Sundries) both Arkion's bloodstone amulet and Nemphre's onyx ring.

As well as giving experience, his dialogue suggests that he intended to give me a cloak... but this never happened.

Can anyone else confirm that the only reward for this quest is experience?

IIRC, he gives you the Nymph's Cloak, or was it the cloak of non-detection? I know that the seller there (Drim or Drin) will create the Nymph's Cloak for you. I can't confirm if he Ordulinian will give you a reward though. I'll make sure to check for it when I get to Baldur's Gate next.

Keep an eye out for Ordulinian's dialogue about the cloak when you show him the amulet and ring.

Are you using any mods? I dont remember getting any cloak there...

However there was a cloak of protection +1 in Nymphre's home AFAIR.

You need to have the Nymph's Hair and talk to the shopkeep for him to make the cloak for you. But he already sort of has it on his person, so you could pickpocket it if you wanted to.

After showing Ordulinian the amulet and ring the DIALOGUE implies I was supposed to be given a cloak. Does anyone know more about this?

Well, on a side note, another quest where you don't get an item is in the Cloakwood when you aid Aldeth. He says 'Take no this small token of my appreciation.' I didn't get anything except 2000 xp. It may be because I pickpocketed him, but who knows? Did you pickpocket Ordulinian before completeing the quest?

CLCK06 is Cloak of Non-Detection.

It's true--judging from his words, Ordulinian is supposed to give you a cloak, but he never does, despite what Infinity Explorer has to say on the subject. No matter what version or patches you have, he don't give no cloak, he don't even got no cloak to give. It's even mentioned specifically in walkthroughs.

Infinity Explorer shows only that he's scripted to, not that he will. As you point out, he must possess the item in order to deliver it. The problem is he doesn't have it. With the cause isolated, someone can fix it.

But for an expedient, the industrious reader may make the following connections:

1) I'm properly due a reward for this quest.
2) IE tells me I'm due item CLCK06.
3) CLUAConsole:CreateItem("CLCK06")
