Whenever I log into a multiplayer game, After I've created my character, I press play, and A black screen appears. I keep the cursor and I can exit using Alt + F4. The music keeps playing but no loading screen!! :S HELP!

Running any software firewalls? Try alt-tabbing to desktop and see if any messages are comming up.

Nope, No messages, No Firewall... Hm

Check your connection, minimize bandwidth consuming programs, try alternate servers and take note of the servers ping. You know when you have logged onto a server when the cursor dissapears - even if nothing has happend yet other than that. Usually (for me) the problem is actually Gamespy being a bitch.

Hmmm Well I just ticked the dedicated internet connection thingee so mebbe that'll help!

I thought it could be because I do not have SOU, so I got SOU, and I still have the problem... Help!!

Is this happening for ANY multiplayer game or only for Ziroc's EfU mod?

Are you on dial-up or a fast connection?

Any multiplayer game. I actually havent been able to find Efu [img]tongue.gif[/img] And I'm on a dial up, but I used to be able to play Multiplayer, and I know people who do on Dial up.

Try using a premade character if you can and see if this sequence of events occurs:

You try connecting to the server
You get a successful connection and the server logs you in
You select a premade character and hit play
The screen goes black and you hear music but nothing seems to happen -

If that is what happens you MAY just be suffering from REALLY slow load times. I see that a LOT when I try logging into EfU - sometimes the load takes FOREVER! But eventually the game will load.

Okay, at 20 mins I would say that it something else. I was thinking more like 3 or 4 minutes at max.

You have obviously tried to connect to multiple servers right?

Try a fresh install of the game see if it helps. If not post a message on the Bioware tech forums and they'll sort you out I hope. Keep us posted.

All I can say is that we need to make a list and narrow it down to find the solution. Have you posted on Bioware's website where the real techs can see it?

Tech support on the Bioware site is quite miserable. The tech help forum used to be packed with posts that had zero reply's.
