For the past two days I have been surfing all the game sites and found that
BIOWARE is going to release the Neverwinter Nights
expansion called "Shadows of the Undertide"
around Feb 28,2003 I found this imfo at

Yes this is the only website I have found with referance to an expansion to NWN's. However in a recent thread people were discussing a german site making a bogus referance to an expansion with the same name which bioware denied so we can't be sure at this time.
I do have this sneaking suspicion that they are working on an expansion, nothing more than just a feeling but the site itself is barely a blueprint so if they're actually planning to make one i'm thinking their trying to keep this one under wraps for a bit. Assuming its legit : It says Feb 28 for a release date and I say YEAH RIGHT! Both NWN's and IWD2 were delayed dramatically this year so I don't expect this one to be on time at all. This thing aint gonna be out any time soon, im judging april or may next.

But hey we heard it here first - let the rumors begin!! :D

Well concidering how stupid the SP was for NWN im sure they can make another half-arsed job of Sp for the expansion in 5 months without a problem. [img]tongue.gif[/img] :D

It would not take them a year or more to make the expansion. In case you missed it, they already have the working base - engine and all that stuff. Basically what they need to do now is to have story, write dialogues, scripts, create maps, new objects as needed and such. Not a small task, but defniately nothing too huge either. So if there REALLY would be an expansion in the works, then some late winter/early spring next year wouldn't be too "utopic" time. Altough they probably would push it back some, heh. But still - they already have the working "frame", so it's easier to build onto it, then to recreate everything.

The storyline better be better than NWN!!! NWN's story really sucked hardcore!!! It was sooo repetitive too!
Also would we have to pay for the expansion, will it b on CD, or would we be able to download it???

I just want to see the level cap removed.

Will the plot wizard be part of the expansion, or will it be a download?

Check out the Neverwinter site. http://nwn.bioware.com/ According to it the plot wizard should be included in the 1.27 patch which is the next patch. Also you just posted the question this is a work day for most of us. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I read somewhere it is not a true expansion, as in for sale in stores. It will be modules by the design team for download, possibly with some new features.

Sir Goulum if it takes more than a year to make an expansion then somebody had better call the developers at Bethesda Softworks and tell them that the expansion that came out for Morrowind and is sitting on my desk right now can't come out for 5 more months because Sir Goulum says
