I would get it! Oh....I did!!! And yes its good! Some things take some getting used to but its turning out to be a great game. I played it all day lol

I'm enjoying it much more than I thought I would. I'm slightly frustrated with the camera and a few minor things, but the game is *FUN* That's something that I couldn't say about the last few games I went through (Dungeon Seige, Throne of Darkness). I'm glad there's finally something worth playing. BGII is getting old after about two years of straight playing...
Make sure your computer is above specs, especially your graphics card. I have a 900 Athalon, but only a 16MG RivaTNT card, and I can barely run it. |
Being that Zateel admittedly spent the last 2 years in a repetitious BGII frenzy, I'd think it would be safe to presume that asking, "Whether NWN is worth getting?" is somewhat of a redundant question.
If Bioware can produce a game of such quality that it continually draws players to its single-player game, imagine what possibilities NWN, being also multi-player, can bring. Incidentally, neither Dungeon Siege, nor Throne of Darkness you were made by Bioware. No wonder why they just don't compare to the BG series or most recently, NWN. I've been an RPG fan ever since Might & Magic, Bard's Tale, Ultima, and Eye of the Beholder to mention a few, and therefore, I've been able to play through a gaming genre that has taken many evolutionary turns and yet still retains much of its pure state. So trust me when I say that NWN is a game for the history books. If counsel systems could in fact successfully pull off NWN, gamers all over the world would be in heaven! I can't imagine a single reason why a fan of the genre would not choose to purchase NWN. And I am actually shocked that a thread such as this one must be posted. If you’re in any way a RPG fan don't think twice, BUY NWN NOW! I hope I've helped you decide Sir Goulum. The next time I read a post from you I hope its one that clearly displays your new found addition for this game. In a perfect world, NWN would be handed out for FREE every time you exit a grocery store, give a to pledge to Green Peace, or apply for a credit card. In a perfect world... |

The linux .exe should be available for download soon, but you still need the PC disks for content. The PC is ready now and running almost 24/7 on my comp. |
