Hurrah!!!! :D

macoati 01-13-2003 12:46 AM

Has anyone found any info about the game yet? I haven't looked all that hard but heuristicpark hasn't had an update in millenia :(

Bungleau 01-13-2003 01:25 AM

Ver-r-r-ry interesting... what's also interesting is that of all the negative responses on the thread Packrat gave us a link to, every one can be addressed by asking the simple question...

<font="cyan">Do you know about Ironworks Forums?

I'm looking forward to it, although I suspect it will be several months, at least, before anything happens.

I join the "huraaah" howl. To the comments at rpgdot: don't take them too seriously. I wrote about such comments once - they are a result of superficiality.
I like to investiage a good game and see what I can achieve in it and how. No other game, I have played so far, gave me so much material to investigate. It never happened to me with other games that I found something worth to try even after 20th pass through.
Let us hope the new game will be as good as W&W.

Taski 01-13-2003 11:36 AM

Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool - new RPG by David ? That roXXors....behave, baby :D

Letīs wait and hope...

Desdicado 01-13-2003 11:51 AM

Excellent News.

BTW, if you guys get tired of W&W meantime, Give Might and Magic 9 a bash.
Don't believe the sucky reviews, it's excellent.

Sazerac 01-13-2003 12:05 PM

Outstanding news!!! The master wizard is back at the drawing board!

I'll have to alert Scronan about it. He'll be thrilled!

Cheers,
-Saz

I have DW's email address, and I will email him and see if he can give us some inside info, he owes me for something anyway he said :D

I am thinking of going through W&W again myself soon (After I mess with Sim City 4 a bit) ;)

COOOL.
I'd like to see that.

Donīt know if you will check back here again but I hope so, otherwise I sīpose I will have to email you. Will you be getting a copy to review this game? I would love to hear your thoughts about it if you get a sneak peak. ;) Either on the radio or on the boards.

The same goes for Sim City 4. Any info on that would be great! Iīve read some previews, including Maxisīs promo, as well as checked screen shots and trailers. Canīt wait to get it. IIRC, itīs supposed to be in the stores as of today! :D

Oh and if you do email Bradley, send along a request for a W&W2. ;)

I know this might sound crazy, and even though I don't know you, I'm sure you're a nice person and all... but... God forgive me, I can't help myself!

Added my two cents in the comment section. Wonder if Bradley bothers to read those things.

Olli Kalma 01-15-2003 10:42 AM

OK added my thoughts as well. I must say there were suddenly lots of ads for IW on that "board". How did that happen? ;) :D

Anyways, great news! I've only gone through W&W once, but I liked it very much, so hopefully I'll get time to try this new game out!

Davros 01-17-2003 11:50 AM

Bungleau 01-18-2003 10:30 PM

Ehh, Tristan... cute. At least you got the pronunciation right. I do appreciate that.
