Some of you may have noted my testing a few new "Bouncies" in various posts. I've put together a collection of this nonsense so if you'd like to have your eyes boggled for a while go to: http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/bouncy.htm
Red (below) is, of course, very happy about this page finally making it to the internet. I'm not certain anyone else will be. ;) Wyv |
Wyvern;
LOL.. LOL.. L. L. Too cool, I Love it, (especially the tumbling mummy and the grabbie's) now tell me how to add them to my posts. |
:D
Okay to add them into a post (don't go crazy on me, please) you need the code SO to add the tumbling mummy you would put without the spaces and you get: http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/mummytumble.gif |
Way cool, Wyv. Thanks for sharing!
Are you sure Red and the family aren't related to rabbits? :) |
Wyv,

BJ, my son, will be delighted to hear that the bouncies have been a big hit! ;) They're fun!
I found RED and a bluegrab originally on this site: http://clik.to/smileys (this will truly boggle your eyes!) I have no idea who originally created them. Certainly wish I did. BJ wanted me to create a site for the bouncies, so I just created a couple pages on my already existing site (Animal Rescue Michigan Border Collie Rescue). I will improve the Bouncy Pages as time allows. I've added some more bouncies since I first created the first page. Had to add a second because the big bouncies were causing the first page to slow down. May eventually break it into categories by type if I end up making enough to justify doing so. I'm using Jasc's Animation Shop to edit the bouncies. Most of the time it is a pretty good tool for the job. Sometimes it decides to make color changes that I didn't want. If I keep editing bouncies at this rate, I may really become a master of Animation Shop. I might also put a hit counter on (as well as the suggested music if I can find something appropriate). I will attempt to do a tumbling mummy grab but don't hold your breath! Thanks for liking my Absolutely Ridiculous maiee’s Bouncy Cartoon Refuge!! Enjoy!! Wyv |
ADDED to Bouncy Pages: MUSIC! and The Orgin Mythology of Bouncies!
http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/orginmyth.htm (I am getting warped!) lol!! Wyv Red made me do it! |
Well Wvy,
If Red, made you do it.....Then Red's alright!!! It's good to have someone ..make.. you do things that you enjoy. ............ http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/mummytumble.gif I love this guy. He looks like, I feel, after a 3 day W&W marathon. ......sometimes your the windshield...sometimes your the bug....... [ 04-22-2002, 07:21 PM: Message edited by: Packrat ] |
Wyv,
Glad to see that you are getting carried away.....the smileys add a lot to the posts. Keep on rocking and rolling...... http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/mummytumble.gif [ 04-22-2002, 10:44 PM: Message edited by: D*one ] |
It would seem that I was in error. When Red was explaining the orgins of Bouncies to me, I misunderstood some aspects of the story and as a result my depiction of this event was in error.
This has been corrected to Red's satisfaction: http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/creationmyth.htm |
Okay - A tumbling mummy grab!
http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/mummygrab.gif (amazing what can be done!) Wyv |
Wyvern,
You've out done yourself. Red must be proud. ----------------- .. http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptian.gif ..A..oh..A..oh..A.. http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptian.gif...oh..A..oh..oh http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptian.gif ----------------- I don't know how you do it. I have a hard enough time just using them. P.S. Thanks for this one.... http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/mummygrab.gif |
LOL!!
I've been out searching the web trying to find a nice FREE photo of either the pyramids (at night would be nice) or in a nice tomb so I could do a whole line of the dancing egyptians! Took me a while to figure out how to get that one right but they make me laugh! Red will probably want one of him dancing too. http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptian.gif http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptian.gif http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptian.gif Wyv |
|
I'll keep my eye's peeled, but I don't get around much.
I'm sure if it's out there, you'll probably find it. --Oh a a oh Oh-- http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptian.gif that song has been stuck in my head now for 2 days,... thanks Red. |
Looks like Red has trouble dancing! LOL!!!
I'm pretty good at finding things on the web, it's just locating photos that are free to use that's the difficulty! ;) If it's to be found, I'll find it! |
And of course he has to be different...Red definately marches to a different drummer.
LOL!!!! Great job Wyv... Pat yourself on the back..matter of fact, have BJ help. |
|
cool wyvern!
|
Thanks!!
I've added a few more interesting Bouncies - most on the BIG Bouncies Page. http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/jumpreyesg.gif Rather fun to open up my bigwhite.gif and then decide what to do with him today. ;) Wyv |
Since there isn't much going on here on the board and I've had a cold which has prevented me from getting to my more serious work, I've had too much time to make even more Bouncies!
The latest addition (not counting the odd one here and there) is a PET page! ;) http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/egyptiancat.gif Enjoy! Wyv |
I must say after seeing the updated version of your tribute to bounciedom, I am throughly impress and enjoy seeing the different things that you are doing with or should i say to them......
roll on http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/mummytumble.gif |
Thanks!!
It is always interesting to see who will appear next. There were a couple of new additions today, a pirate and a dustbunny among them! http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/pirate.gif Wyv |
I haven't had a lot of time recently to do more bouncies :( but they are such fun, I do want to get back to it.
Anyone have some good ideas for new Bouncies?? <marquee behavior=alternate> http://www.armbcr.org/smiley/dustbunny.gif</marquee> Wyv messed up my marquee so now you get this message below! :D [ 05-20-2002, 10:54 AM: Message edited by: Wyvern ] |
Ideas for bouncies:
A skeleton bouncy? or maybe a ghost bouncy? oooh, how about a hungover bouncy? lol... watching red, is there anything he cannot do? *Life is an oyster... you just have to stay alive long enough to enjoy it!* |
hehehe
THanks for the ideas! Did sort of did a ghost but it didn't quite turn out as well as it should so I'll probably retackle that one first (when I get a chance - doing two puppy adoptions today). Sometimes it surprises me how much can be done with the bouncies. Some of the pet bouncies took the longest to complete but I think they were worth it! Was thinking I should do a small pirate bouncy too! Wyv |
Bowling for bouncies just crossed my mind... and maybe a bouncie winged wheel, in honor of the Red Wings. Bouncing hockey puck, if only to avoid copyright issues.
Thanks fer sharing, that's fer sher. |
LOL!!!
I love these ideas!! I really must make some bouncy time (after I have made some serious real work time since that has been shuffled to the back burner too often of late)! Bouncies just make me smile! Seems like they do the same for others too!! Bungleau - given that you live in the Western Wilds of this beautiful state of our's - do you like dogs?? Might you ever be willing to give a hand with some transportation or something in my rescue group's effort to save Border Collies? "No" is an acceptable answer! :D I just couldn't pass up at least asking. If you'd care to check out our site (I'm the webmaster) visit www.armbcr.org Wyv |
