mmm-Hmmm!!! Well, I know there's sound files of Nivius talking about how the
"wrath of the Mavin hath consumed the hero" or something like that...in the last sound folder in the WAV files, so I knew that was in there to begin with! Interesting. The mechanism MUST be in there somewhere, and was just disabled... or never completed.

dlimbaugh - how about we make just one thread for all these wonderful things you are discovering?? Or perhaps put them into mortification's Mod Hex thread?

That would make it easy to bump up and keep players informed! What do you think?

Is it actually possible to be "Consumed by the wrath of the Mavin"?

It would seem that at one time it was possible during the game's development, Neb...then for some reason (Ackivision's, most likely http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...s/rolleyes.gif ) they disabled the mechanism, or never got it tested properly.

Personally, I'd rather not have it in there, rather than having it in there and working in a faulty manner (like having it consume your character every time you turn around, regardless of your action!)

I've often though about adding them to the Hex editing thread, as they're more to come. Last night I found the file with all the quest text in it. There's a Talon's fang quest after the Leprecaun? quest in the Brimloch Roon pawnshop, but we never get to it because the Leprecaun quest is never completed. As soon as I figure out the file format, I'll see if I can bring it up as a replacement for the Leprecaun quest so we can try it out.

Is the Leprechaun quest never completed? You can find the Leprechaun, but I haven't returned for any reward yet, maybe you need to kill or pickpocket it?

in the leps chest there is an amulet that if u put on the game freezes up...that is the lucky stone and u give it to the pawn shop and he rewards u.but i have never got another quest from the pawn shop
