Finally there were no bugs in the game...
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Finally there were no corrupted saved games.... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Finally there was no one to stop me.... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ and FINALLY I have defeated Saravok and completed BGI/TOSC...of course now that I have run my character through the came two complete times you can imagine the monster that I will be transporting into BGII with all of the tome improvement done to him...Something along the lines of... STR-19 DEX-20 CON-17 INT-13 WIS-21 CHR-9 ...not too shabby for a halfling fighter/thief...too bad I can't dual him into a cleric... |
Congratulations !!
I have still have something to look forward to, as I haven't completed yet (though I have several games 'running' at the moment) Insane |
Congratulations, Mr. Baggins. Let us know if your export from BG1 and import to BG2 works out for you. And you are not allowed to leave the Sword Coast entirely. Start a new game with a new character, and stay in the Sword Coast for a while. I'm proud of you.
|
So how does a Halfling get 19 STR? Apart from that, well done, I say! Your reward is well earned. You're going to have a good time with that particular character in BG2--may I ask his Alignment?
|
remember you can export legally a char with 25 across the board , i dont know if bg2 would limit it or not though, just a matter of playing through many many times for each tome so baggins only about another 50 times to go

Don't evade the question Underhill: how did your halfling come to have 19, yes 19 strength? The rapacious little...so and so.
Well done BTW. Just 'cause you've completed BG doesn't mean that you can, should or will be allowed to leave this board. Be advised. (Stern looks issued your way.) Edit: was this the solo or party game? Sorry, as I can't remember right now. [ 01-22-2003, 07:22 AM: Message edited by: Lord Brass ] |
he said he's gone through the game twice with that char (assuming 17 starting str, max for halflings) 2 tomes of str would bump him up to 19.
|
Don't blind me with your logic and facts Morgeruat. Underhill's F/T has a lot to answer for. I suggest he starts now.
|
Yes, even I, Mr. Baggin's staunchest supporter, have been questioning his whereabouts and decision making of late. He does have much to explain. I say we call for a Senate Hearing on the matter.
|
I say we string him up until he talks :D
|
A say, lets all give a rousing round of applause for Mr. Baggins. Congrats dude, it sure was a fun game.
|
i say throw him in a pit with a bunch of hungry kobolds for a day or until he talks see if he wants to be buddies with the little blighters then!

THAT was funny, grungi. And very appropriate too. But Secret Master is correct, we should congratulate him also. |
I'll bet that Mr. Under Hill has 'wasted' some (maybe even a lot) kobolds on the way to World Domination (TM) ahem - I mean on the way to his final battle against Saravok.

Yes, how about it Mr. Baggins?...Underhill?...uh Bagginhill? Did you kill any of those innocent Kobolds? After all it is just thier upbringing that makes them evil.
|
Ah my fellow Sword Coastians...lol...there is so much to say and such a terribly short time to say it so please excuse the typo's...To answer SIX yes my halfling strength is 19 due to the correct assumptions of the board when it was mentioned that going through thte game twice garnered me 2 tomes of strength although i like to personnally think of it as a liberal amount of anabolic steroids...and yes BG2 does allow my character to transfer with all ability scores in tact...For my faithful friends and companions I promise not to leave the sword coast or this board because after seeing the spells available in BG2 I have started BG1 yet once again with a conjuer as my protagonist... I must go now but will try to add more later

Ah a bit more time to spread my word to the masses...As I reread the comments and the questions that i was asked in my absence I believed that I have replied to all but one...and that would be the possible extermination of Kobolds at the hands of my badass halfling fighter/thief self...Well I have to be honest and say that it is true that Kobolds have died by my hands...for just as there are bad humans trying to bend the will of other humans to their will there are bad apples among the race of kobolds as well...After all, we can not expect every kobold to become an upstanding fighting for the forces of rightousness paladin like Fuzzy Lumpkins...Yes I solved the problem in the Nashkel Mines and yes my new wizard has just completed this task but I must continue in my honesty that since I have begun leading the crusade to integrate Kobolds into our society I have killed no kobold needlessly...Even when waylaid by the little blighters If I can not charm them to keep them from harming me I flee out of concern that I may harm or even slay a relation of one of my educated and seeking to better themselves kobolds in the BYOB Kobold Integration Village Project. So with this being said I shall now try to catch up on a few more of the topics that I have missed in my absence and I will leave you...my friends...yes even Grungi...and hope to be able to speak to you soon.
