1) Okay, so is this done on timebased or turn based, ie my attacks your attacks.

2) First quest, I went to the graveyard, fought to the crypt. Clicked on the lion dude to the right, door opened. Great. Went through it, down twisted flight of stairs. Came to a door. They have pressure technology and as I walk towards the door, it opens. Go straight and come to a second underground door. MIGHT AS WELL BE A WALL. Probably something simple, but I'll be darned if I can figure it out. Thanks, folks. Newbie in this game. And yes, I will number my questions. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif

1) BK: You can do it either way. Go to the options screen, and on "Game Speed" slide the control wherever you want it to be.

2) Welcome to the club! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif We all fall for that one. Check the wall on the left of the small room. There's a lever there (in the darkness, no less!) that you can pull to open the door (load the dungeon, actually).

BK: Trust me when I say this...we've ALL had the same problem! It's a learning curve. You'll be a veteran in no time.

C'mon Saz, "ALL" is a bit of an overstatement isn't it http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif.

Haha, that's alright, I had my share of clangers too, like locking myself out of Shurugeon only 3 or 4 days after Regis and Wyv posting to say DON'T jump off the tower (bloody buggy elevator's fault anyway). WOOHOO, the Brisbane Lions have chalked up their first win of the season http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif.

If you have a character that can cast spirt eye (spirit magic level two) use it. Check out all the white dots. (they show up on your map) This really will help!!

Knarfling 04-08-2001 12:05 PM

If "normal" adventurers are "Abnormal" anyway, would an "abnormal" adventurer be someone that is "normal"? Or just more weird? (How does one get to be "more abnormal?") I would hate to think that I was "normal". http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif

Knarfling

p.s. I had a whiskah in my party so I never missed the level either. For long time I didn't know which lever everyone was referring to. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...les/tongue.gif

Knarfling - I think you are safe from being "normal" http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...miles/wink.gif

Saz,
http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...miles/wink.gif heh heh heh

Knarfling...you want tot get MORE abnormal? LMAO! Don't do it the way I got to be...(my sister just reminded me on the 6th that it was my 30th "anniversary" for becoming brain damaged LOL~GEE THANKS SIS!)...my brother threw a rock off a 3 story cliff while I was at the bottom and yelled "heads!" I heard "hey!" and stepped back to look up and see what he wanted. Then I wondered why everything just moved...the rock had landed on my head, fracturing my skull (3 nice big splits in the X-ray I saw) and knocking me out cold (which is why everything had moved...my eyeballs rolling back in my head as I went down...I never knew I had been hit)...I went from "genius child" with a photographic memory to "normal" all in the matter of a few seconds. Of course being "normal" to me has been a bit on the strange side since I still "think" like the genius child with the photographic memory, I just can't remember things to keep myself on that level so I accept my normality as being somewhat on the abnormal side and I have learned to live with it and enjoy myself as I go along in life. (I probably would have been a criminal had I kept the same IQ LOL so it is just as well that I got knocked back a few). http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif

Kids...don't try that at home! OR ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER!

Moni

So now you know how and why I can be such a ditz! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...miles/wink.gif
