OK, I guess I will do it. Any of you (storyline contributors) who want a specific character, give me the description. To start things out, I am asking Wyvern what he wants his "character" to look like. I could probably get Gerath, and mix some of the Wizard robes or Priest robes. Any ideas on your part?
|
Interesting idea, Nano!!
Are you an artist?? kewl! (me too) I'll try to post some information for you by tomorrow on both the Laurel and the Wyvern "characters". Both are female, btw, but that is sooooooo hard to tell just from written word! Wyv |
No not an artist, just really good at mixing pictures together (from the computer that is). Alright, I'll keep an eye out for your post .
|
That's a useful talent too!!
We'll see if we can't get some of the others to post their descripts too. Some you might be able to figure out from the story line so far but many are not really described very completely. Wyv |
Can't?
|
LOL!!!
SOrry Nano -it's an old idomatic expression of mine (forget where I learned it) but you say "can't" when you mean "CAN"! (well blushes) I really try to not include such things when I type online. IT gets confusing!! Ah well, I am getting grey! Wyv |
Hey Nanobyte!
Here's a description of Sazerac: Warlock, appx. 20-30 (I'm older, but we're talking game here), long chestnut brown hair (brownish-red, long beard, intense green eyes, thick brows, long nose. I don't know if you need any more details than that, but it should be enough to get started with...if you need more input, please ask. Just a personal note: I wanted to let you know how much we all appreciate you here. Keep posting, whatever you do. Even if some threads don't make it, move on and try something else. We've all had that. What you've got here is something really good. Your post on the "Giggling So Hard" is one of the most long-lived posts on the forum. We've all had a load of fun with it. Keep havin' fun, Sazerac |
Ooh. Your giving me a tuffee aren't you. This might take a while for yours Sazerac.
|
Well, actually ya. Unless you want him naked (leather undee's), then you better post what he usually wears.
|
class eh?
Laurel would be a combination of ranger/priest Wyvern would be a combination of ranger/wizard/priest |
Sorry. Sable robes.
-Sazerac |
((should I delete Saz's last post or should I not delete Saz's last post - hmmmm)) LOL!!!!
Laurel - about 40, is tall and slender with long wavy red hair (not a bright red) which is beginning to show streaks of grey near her temples. She favors the color green in her garments which are embroidered with small leaves and flowers - all in subtle forest tones. She wears soft suede boots. Around her neck hangs a moonstone amulet. Laurel has green eyes and is quite striking. There is an aura of the mysterious about her. Laurel wears a dagger in her belt. Wyvern - about 50, is of average height and average built. Her straight hair is all silver and generally tied to the back with strands escaping around her face. Her faces does not really show her age nor does it make her look far younger than she is. She is not beautiful, nor is she plain. She has brown eyes which can twinkle. Her appearance in general is familiar and comforting, the sort of appearance that makes folks think of their mothers or aunts or some trusted caring friend. Her face is open and honest. She favors long tunics of purples and blues (not bright colors) and leggings with short boots. She carries a staff made from the Leeya Vine which had spiraled around the trunk of a Reether tree. Nano - is that enough?? Do you need more details (or less)??? Looking forward to seeing what "magic" you will make! Wyv |
I need to know one thing, Wyv. What class they are? And I'm sorry to say, but it will be a while before I have these.
|
OK, now I know what the combination is, but what do you want them to be during the story? A ranger who knows priest/wizard spells, or a priest/wizard that knows how to use a bow?
|
Well Nano, I'll tell you, I have never been a fan of this whole concept of particular classes having to wear particular types of garb. I can understand limitations for armor, but when it comes to soft clothing - I cannot see that it matters.
Make their costume look nice, comfortable and practical! Have fun with it and don't fret about anyone's fashion rules! Wyv |
Hehe, I got this one picture (with sound if I can add it), but I can't find it anywhere in the W&W file. Where are the pictures? Or am I taking them wrong (Print Screen)?

For more information on this topic (if I'm still in the story that is, I can see people needing a guide when they get to the Stout Mines) see the picture that I posted on Slip's site. It's the second White Dwarf Logo (also known affectionately as "The Hero Quest Dwarf" by many gamers) but the addition of a Norse round shield (as oposed to the norman kite shield) is equired and maybe a crossbow. These should not be added to the picture because I like it the way it is. However if you want to take away that annoying earring I wouldn't complain.
