If you don't have the ring of wizardry at the FAI, can you CLUA one into the game from just the normal bg files?

True_Moose 10-13-2002 10:53 PM

You can get one in Baldur's Gate also.

To cheat, it's CLUAConsole:CreateItem("ring08") ;)

Why cheat one in when the two rings are so ridiculously easy to get.

ryaldin 10-15-2002 12:22 PM

I'd like to cheat in a ring of wizardry because my game doesnt have the FAI ring, and I'd like to have the advantages that should be available to me throughout the game, instead of waiting until baldurs gate(the city).

Spoiler question.

Where in BG can I find this wonderful ring?

Morgeruat 10-16-2002 01:29 PM

top floor of the mages tower

The Ring of Wizardry is NOT in Ragefast's tower. It is in a house along the southern wall in the same area as the Flaming Fist. It will be on one of the bodies of Sunin, Maka or Joular, I forget witch one. Good luck.

Morgeruat 10-16-2002 04:50 PM

i meant the one where you can buy things on the first level and at the top is a mage who attacks, mop up the floor with him to get it IIRC (I could be wrong, it'sbeen a while) not ragefast (he's the one who wants the SPOILER

Kill all the Mages you want, and wear all the dropped Rings you want, just remember to be a good boy and ID them first, hmmmmm?

ryaldin 10-16-2002 08:55 PM

oh c'mon six, let the kids have their fun. It might be interesting to see a level seven mage stumbling around baldur's gate drooling on himself and running into everything, triumphantly exalting in pride when he picks up a rock of the street, "treasure!!" After all, experience is the BEST teacher...
