everytime i try to put in a code it dosn't work can any one help me

Go to the game's configuration and enable the cheat option.

I did that and every time i put one in it says nice try cheater thanx anyway

Hey you guys if u press alt contral delete that doesn't even have anything to do with the game so what the HECK and where do u type the cheat's thank's Sacred_Exile!

YOu don't press Ctrl Alt Delete, you open the command line and type in ctrlaltdelete:cheatgoeshere.

That's the problem i can't even figure out what a command line is and where do you type the cheats i mean it seems stupid to just type something so i dont know well Thanks Sacred_Exile!

OK, First off, you go to the Icewind Dale 2 Config prompt and find the Command or Console Line and check it. In the game press Ctrl+Tab and then type ctrlaltdelete:cheatgoeshere. But, that brings us to the next issue. If you've already used Google to find nothing that means you don't have the cheats which means all we've written here is bupkuss for you. Just go to the site T-D-C stated above and you'll be fine...

UUUMMM i found the command line but when ever i type ctrlaltdelet:cheatgoeshere nothing happen's!

You type the actual cheat in the place of cheatgoeshere. If I wanted to add experience to my characters I'd select them all and type ctrlaltdelete:setcurrentxp("number")
I don't know if the " goes here or not, try both versions. And read the site already!

I had the same problem at first when it said nice try cheater,that was till i remembered 2 un-disabled cheat mode *claps* clever me! lol [img]tongue.gif[/img] thant u just copy and paste a cheat down fr a website for instance.... hold town control whilst holding tab down till u get a little talk box at the bottom of your screen then type in your cheat like this this is a cheat copy and paste it in ctrlaltdelete:setcurrentxp(100000) copy and paste that int he box and all your chars will upgrade to a VERY high level when u press enter when that code is in [img]smile.gif[/img]
